Abstract

Model A, Model
second moment (MVFOSM). Sehingga didapatkan Probality of Failure (PoF) pada
attachments padeye pada Model A, B, dan C masing- masing sebesar 0,126%, 0,064 %,
dan 0,0001 %. Sedangkan PoF pada hole padeye sebesar 0,062% untuk Model A, 0,10 %
untuk Model B, dan 0,23% untuk Model C.

In the fabrication companies and industry, lifting is one of the most important stages
during construction and installation of offshore building. It's necessary to understand its
calculations and additional analysis to consider whether the lifting process is safe or
unsafe. Lifting scenarios based on rigging configuration can be determined the correct
rigging equipments. In this case, the object lifting is the upper deck of a module structure
MODEC that carried out by PT. GPS Batam. This deck has length of 19.5 m and width of
9 m. The total weight of the structure with equipment amounting to 55 tons. There are
three of rigging configuration: Model A (without spreader bars), Model B (one spreader
bar), and Model C (two spreader bars). Those models will affect the padeye dimension
calcutaions. Model A, Model B and Model C has a hole diameter padeye each at 74 mm,
65 mm and 52 mm. The highest stress and UC occur in the Model A at 17625.99 psi and
for UC 0,52. But it is inversely when viewed from the pedeye's hole. Either the
higher UC or stress occur in the Model C, using two spreader bars, has stress value of
13936.58 psi and UC value of 0.45. The stress that occurs in the attachments or near the
hole to determine each padeye reliability using Mean Value First Order Second Moment
(MVFOSM). So we get probality of Failure (PoF) value on attachments padeye in Model
A, B, and C, respectively at 0.126%, 0.064% and 0.0001%. While PoF value on padeye
hole of 0.062% for the Model A, 0.10% for the Model B, and 0.23% for Model C.
