Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dan ekonomi membuat permintaan beban
listrik meningkat. Meningkatnya beban listrik harus diimbangi dengan
penambahan daya yang dibangkitkan. Hal ini menjadikan
penjadwalan unit pembangkit perlu ditentukan dengan baik agar
didapatkan pembangkitan dengan harga yang optimal. Tugas Akhir ini
mengembangkan software Powergen yang sudah biasa digunakan
dalam perhitungan unit commitment dan economic dispatch namun
dengan mempertimbangkan ramp-rate. Metode yang digunakan
adalah complete enumeration dengan forward dynamic programming
approach pada unit commitment. Sedangkan pada economic dispatch
menggunakan metode iterasi lambda. Metode-metode tersebut
diterapkan pada Delphi sehingga diharapkan akan menghasilkan
software perhitungan unit commitment dan economic dispatch dengan
mempertimbangkan ramp-rate.

Development in technology and economy makes electrical load
demand increases. The increasing of electrical load must be balanced
with the increasing power generated. This makes the scheduling of
generating units need to be well determined in order to obtain
generation with an optimal price. This final project is developing a
software called Powergen that is already used in the calculation of
unit commitment and economic dispatch, but taking into account the
ramp-rate. Complete enumeration with dynamic programming on the
unit commitment is the method which is used in this software. While
in the economic dispatch using lambda iteration method. These
methods are applied at Delphi is expected to produce unit commitment
and economic dispatch calculation software considering the ramprate.
