Abstract

Stroke is one of the highest causes of death in Indonesia. About twenty-one percent of Indonesian people die due to this disease and others experience disabilities caused by patients after stroke. Some therapeutic efforts are carried out, one of them is a technology-based alternative therapy, namely the use of exoskeleton. This research continues and complements previous research, namely by designing exoskeleton for lower limbs from hips to ankles. The results of this study have an efficient form and system, use two degrees of freedom in the sagittal axis, have more variety of movements according to rehabilitation needs, provide leveling movements that can adjust the patient's condition, and are supported by the existence of a remote button as a controller. The exoskeleton is also equipped with back support so that the rehabilitation process can be carried out continuously, which is expected to optimize healing.
