Abstract
Telah dilakukan analisis mengenai tingkat bahaya dan lapisan pelindung menggunakan metode LOPA. Penelitihan ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi nilai Safety Integrity Level (SIL) serta jenis Independent Protection Layer (IPL) yang ada pada Air Compressor 101J/JT. Analisis tingkat bahaya dilakukan dengan mengetahui severity level dan likelihood setiap skenario kejadian berdasarkan Hazard and Operability (HazOp) PT.Petrokimia Gresik. Sedangkan analisa lapisan pelindung (IPL) dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi nilai Initiating Event Likelihood (IEL) pada setiap layer. Lapisan pelindung yang ada pada Air Compressor 101J/JT terdiri dari Basic ProcessControl System (BPCS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Alarm System, dan Mechanical Safety. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa nilai SIL Pada skenario satu sampai dengan skenario sepuluh memiliki nilai SIL neccesary risk reduction yang sama yaitu SIL1 tetapi pada skenario3 memiliki nilai SIL2. Sedangkan PFD hasil perhitungan memiliki nilai 5,21E-03 sampai dengan 6,99E-01. Sedangkan nilai Risk dari perhitungan menujukkan bahwa nilai masih pada nilai low. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada nilai Risk dari perkalian Consequence dan Likelihood mulai dari 2 sampai dengan 6.

It has been analyzed risk level and layer of protection using LOPA. This final project’s object were SIL identifying and Indepenent Protection Layer (IPL) in Air Compressor 101J/JT. Risk level analysis based on severity level and likelihood of each scenarios in Hazard and Operability (HazOp) PT.Petrokimia Gresik. While layer of protection layer analysis based on Initiaing Event Likelihood (IEL) identifying. Layer of protection in Air Comressor 101J/JT were Basic ProcessControl System (BPCS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Alarm System, dan Mechanical Safety. Based on the analysis, each scenarios had diffferent SIL value thats SIL from first scenario until tenth have the same risk reduction is SIL1 but on skenario3 has a value SIL2. PFD while the calculation results have value 5,21E-03 to 6,99E-01. While the Risk value calculation shows that the value is still at a low value. This is shown in the value of the multiplication Consequence Risk and Likelihood ranging from 2 to 6.
