Abstract
Telah dilakukan studi eksperimental untuk mengetahui
pengaruh Mekanisme Active Pitch pada Turbin Hidrokinetik Tipe
Darrieus terhadap efisiensi turbin. Eksperimen dilakukan di
Umbulan, Pasuruan. Variasi kecepatan yang digunakan untuk
eksperimen adalah 0.674 m/s, 0.806 m/s, 0.944 m/s dengan
menggunakan 3 variasi jumlah foil, 3,6 dan 9 foil . Hasil yang
diperoleh adalah pengukuran nilai rerata Torsi maksimum
mekanisme 3 foil pada kecepatan 0.944 m/s sudut azimuth 30˚
sebesar 5.36 Nm, sedangkan rerata RPM maksimum pada
kecepatan 0.944 m/s sebesar 21.1 Rpm.sedangkan 6 foil hasil
pengukuran nilai rerata Torsi maksimum pada kecepatan 0.944
m/s sudut azimuth 30˚ sebesar 5.4 Nm, sedangkan rerata RPM
maksimum pada kecepatan 0.944 m/s sebesar 12.5 Rpm. Dan 9
foil menghasilkan pengukuran nilai rerata Torsi maksimum pada
kecepatan 0.944 m/s sudut azimuth 30˚ sebesar 5.45 Nm,
sedangkan rerata RPM maksimum pada kecepatan 0.944 m/s
sebesar 10.9 Rpm. Data hasil pengukuran tersebut dapat
disimpulkan bahwa variasi 3 foil memiliki efisiensi turbin terbaik
dengan nilai 91.6 % pada kecepatan arus 0.994 m/s

Experimental studies have been conducted to determine
the effect on the mechanism of Active Pitch Type hidrokinetik
Darrieus turbine for turbine efficiency. Experiments conducted in
Umbulan, Pasuruan. Variations in the speed used for the
experiment is 0674 m / s, 0806 m / s, 0944 m / s with 3 variations
in the amount of foil, 3.6 and 9 foil. The results obtained are the
mean value of maximum torque measurement mechanism 3 foil at
a speed of 0944 m / s azimuth angle of 30˚ at 5:36 Nm, while
average maximum RPM at a speed of 0944 m / s at 21.1
Rpm.sedangkan 6 foil measurement results at a mean value of
maximum torque speed of 0944 m / s 30˚ azimuth angle of 5.4
Nm, while average maximum RPM at a speed of 0944 m / s at
12.5 rpm. 9 foil and produces measurement mean value of
maximum torque at a speed of 0944 m / s azimuth angle of 30˚ at
5:45 Nm, while average maximum RPM at a speed of 0944 m / s
at 10.9 rpm. The measurement data can be concluded that the
three variations foil turbine efficiency best with 91.6% in the
value of the flow velocity 0994 m / s
