Abstract

Mesin diesel kapal merupakan sebuah mesin
yangterbukti handal dari segi fungsi dan efisien
dalampenggunaan bahan bakar.Namun salah satu kekurangan
danH2SO4) yangdapat mengakibatkan kanker. Gas CO yang
dapatmenyebabkan kematian apabila terhirup secara
langsungmenyebabkan bertambahnya suhu bumi akibat
pertambahan CO2 atau global warming.Buruknya kondisi
kualitas udara akibat gas buang yang dikeluarkan mesin diesel
kapalmengakibatkan International Maritime
Organization(IMO) mengatur standar minimum emisi NOx
3500 watt. Dan variasi injeksi yaitu amonia dan hidrokarbon.
Dalam pengujian mesin Yanmar TF 85 MH-di untuk
mengurangi NOx lebih efektif meggunakan injeksi
hidrokarbon daripada amonia. Karena hidrokarbon dapat
mengurangi emisi NOx sebesar 21%, sedangkan amonia
hanya 12%.
kapal

Diesel engine is a machine that has proved reliable
in terms of function and efficient in fuel use. However, one
drawback of diesel engine emissions is contained in the flue
gas in the form of SOx, NOx, and CO. It can be endangering
for the health and impairing the air quality that will create
acid rain (HNO3 and H2SO4) which can lead to cancer. CO gas
that can cause death if inhaled directly cause an increase in
the earth's temperature due to the increase of CO2 or global
warming. The poor air quality due to exhaust gases released
ship diesel engines resulted in the International Maritime
Organization (IMO) has been set into minimum standards for
NOx and SOx emissions in ANNEX VI. To overcome the air
emissions generated from the diesel engine one of which uses
the SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction).
Conventional SCR system which uses materials urea and
ammonia as material injector. However, urea and ammonia
these materials fall under the restrictions of rules MARPOL
ANNEX II. Therefore, there is a hydrocarbon material thatXII
can be used as an injector of the SCR system. Hydrocarbons
itself obtained from the fuel from the ship that is solar. In this
thesis will be carried out by testing several variations of
zeolite is 60% zeolite, 45% zeolite, 30% zeolite and 15%
zeolite. While the load variation of more than 1,700 watts,
2600 watts and 3500 watts in variations of ammonia and
hydrocarbon injection. In testing engine Yanmar TF 85 MHin to reduce NOx more effectively use hydrocarbon injection
rather than ammonia. Because hydrocarbons can reduce NOx
emissions by 21%, while only 12% ammonia. So that when
applied to the vessel does not need to add to the ammonia tank
for diesel fuel (hydrocarbon) is included in the fuel tank on
board
