Abstract
Salah satu tipe baling-baling yang dapat meningkatkan
gaya dorong adalah jenis ducted propeller dan contra rotating
propeller. Jenis contra rotating propeller memiliki keuntungan
hidrodinamis terhadap permasalahan penyelamatan energi
rotasional slip stream yang mungkin akan hilang bilamana kita
menggunakan sistem single screw propeller yang konvensional.
Sedangkan jenis ducted propeller memiliki keuntungan mampu
menambah torsi jika dibandingkan tanpa menghunakan kort
nozzle. Kedua jenis tersebut dilakukan combine menjadi ducted
contra rotating propeller. Propeller jenis tersebut dilakukan
variasi pitch pada propeller bagian belakang dari ducted contra
rotating propeller. Metode yang dilakukan untuk analisa
propeller ini menggunakan CFD (Computational Fluid
Dynamics). Berdasarkan grafik K-T-J type ducted contra rotating
propeller bahwa nilai efisiensi tertinggi dengan variasi pitch
terdapat pada putaran rendah yaitu 96 – 108 rpm.

One of the propeller type that can increase thrust is
ducted propeller and than contra rotating propeller. Type contra
rotating propellers have hydrodynamic advantages to the
problems of energy saving of rotational slip stream may be lost if
using a system of conventional single screw propeller. While
these types of ducted propeller has the advantage able to increase
the torque when compared without using kort nozzle. Both types
are made combine into a contra rotating ducted. Propeller pitch
variation types are carried on the back of a ducted contra rotating
propeller. The method used for this analysis using CFD
(Computational Fluid Dynamics). According graph K-T-J type of
ducted contra rotating propeller that value of the highest
efficiency with pitch variation are at low rpm is 96-108 rpm.
