Abstract
Penggunaan panel sandwich dalam konstruksi struktur bangunan menawarkan banyak keuntungan karena beberapa alasan seperti beratnya yang ringan dan pengerjaannya yang cepat. Aplikasi panel sandwich paling besar adalah pada bangunan-bangunan industry dan komersial dengan prosentase penggunaan sekitar 80% dari panel sandwich yang diproduksi. Dengan kekuatannya dan beratnya yang ringan, panel sandwich fiber glass-foam sebagai lantai struktural diharapkan mampu diaplikasikan pada rumah sederhana. Untuk penyelesaiannya dilakukan perancangan dimensi struktur pelat lantai dan kemudian dilakukan analisa struktur dengan menggunakan proram ABAQUS untuk mendapatkan dimensi struktur yang mampu menahan beban. Perancangan juga mempertimbangkan faktor vibrasi untuk meningkatkan nilai kenyamanan Diperoleh pelat lantai sandwich berdimensi 300 cm x 100 cm x 14 cm yang dapat menahan beban rencana dan memenuhi persyaratan vibrasi. Penelitian ini juga menguji konduktivitas thermal dengan hasil 1,401 W/m K untuk GFRP dan 0,023 W/m K untuk PU Foam
==========================================================================================The use of sandwich panel in building construction offers lots of benefits because of some reasons such as lightweight and fast to construct. The biggest sandwich panel application is for industrial and commercial building with the usage percentage about 80% of the total produced panel. With its strength and lightweight, fiber glass-foam sandwich panel as structural floor is expected to be applied for simple residencial housing. For making it happen, the researcher will design the structural dimension of floor plate that will be analyzed by using ABAQUS software to obtain the structure’s dimention that can hold the load. The design also considers vibration factors to increase the comfort value. This study obtained the dimension of the floor plate which is 300 cm x 100 cm x 14 cm that can be loaded by the designed load and meet the vibration requirements. The study also examined the thermal conductivity and obtained 1.401 W/m K for GFRP and 0.023 W/m K for PU Foam
