Abstract
Pengelolaan pengadaan spare part menjadi hal yang kritis terkait dengan
availability (ketersediaan) dan reliability (keandalan) suatu mesin. Mengelola
persediaan spare part berbeda dengan mengelola bahan baku pada proses
produksi. Karena spare part memiliki pola permintaan yang berbeda dengan
bahan baku. Perlu metode yang sesuai untuk meramalkan kebutuhan spare part
dengan pola permintaan yang khusus. Metode peramalan yang sering digunakan
seperti exponential smoothing memberikan hasil peramalan yang tidak sesuai
dengan kebutuhan spare part yang sebenarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan
metode Croston untuk meramalkan permintaan spare part. Metode ini
mempertimbangkan dua aspek yaitu rata-rata besarnya permintaan non-zero dan
rata-rata interval antar permintaan non-zero. Metode ini akan dibandingkan
dengan beberapa metode lain yaitu Syntetos-Boylan approximation (SBA),
simulasi Montecarlo dan MTTF. Sebelum itu dilakukan klasifikasi spare part
berdasarkan analisis FSN. Dari analisis ini akan diperoleh jenis spare part yang
akan diramalkan. Dari hasil perbandingan error, metode SBA memiliki nilai error
paling kecil pada lima jenis spare part dari sepuluh spare part yang diramalkan,
dua jenis spare part untuk metode Croston dan tiga jenis spare part untuk
simulasi Montcarlo.

Spare parts procurement management is critical linked to availability and
reliability of a machine. Spare parts inventory management is different to raw
material management. Because of the spare parts have different pattern to raw
material. It needs the appropriate method to predict the needs of spare parts with a
special demand patterns. Forecasting methods are often used as exponential
smoothing forecasting results that do not correspond to the actual needs of the
spare part. This research method using Croston to predict demand for spare parts.
This method considers two aspects, namely the average of non-zero demand and
the average interval between non-zero demands. These methods will be compared
with some other method i.e. Syntetos-Boylan approximation (SBA), simulation of
Montecarlo and MTTF. This research will do classification of spare parts based on
FSN Analysis. From this analysis will be found the spare parts that will be
foreseen. After comparing the error of forecasting methods, SBA method has
smaller error than other methods for five types spare parts, Croston for two types
of spare parts, and Montecalro simulation for the others three
