Abstract

Kapal fast patrol boat 60 m beroperasi pada kecepatan
bervariasi untuk menjalankan misi melindungi perairan Indonesia.
Untuk mencapai operasional yang optimal pada setiap kecepatan
operasional kapal perencanaan sistem propulsi kapal fast patrol
boat 60 m menggunakan sistem propulsi hybrid. Pada
perencanaan sistem propulsi hybrid untuk kapal fast patrol boat
60 m menggabungkan sistem propulsi mekanik dan sistem propulsi
elektris. Dengan sistem propulsi hybrid kapal dapat beroperasi
dengan menggunakan tiga mode. Untuk memperoleh opersional
yang optimal pada masing-masing kecepatan operasional kapal
perencanaan mode operasi setiap kecepatan operasional kapal
haruslah tepat.
Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan perhitungan dan analisa
mengenai tahanan kapal, daya main engine yang dibutuhkan
untuk sistem propulsi, kebutuhan daya motor listrik untuk system
propulsi, kebutuhan generator dan analisa ekonomi penggunaan
sistem propulsi hybrid untuk kapal fast patrol boat 60 m. Hasil
dari analisa ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sistem propulsi
hybrid untuk kapal vfast patrol boat 60 m memberikan efisiensi
lebih tinggi 6% di banding penggunaan sistem propulsi mekanis
dan 2% lebih tinggi di banding penggunaan sistem propulsi
elektris.

Fast patrol boat 60 m operate at variable speed to carrry out
the mission do protect Indonesian waters. To achieve optimal
operation on each speed of operasional ship, the propulsion
system planning of fast patrol boat 60 m use hybrid propulsion
system. Hybrid propulsion system planning for fast patrol boat 60
m combine diesel mechanical propulsion and diesel electrical
propulsion. Hybrid propulsion system can operate in three mode
operation. To obtain optimal operation for each ship
operational,the mode operation planning for each operasional
speed shall be exactly.
This last project to calculate and to analys ship resistance,
main engine power required , electric motor for propulsion power,
capacity og diesel generator set required and economic analysis of
hybrid propulsion application. The result of this analysis show
that hybrid propulsion application for fast patrol boat 60 m give
6% higher efficiency compared diesel mechanical propulsion and
2% higher efficiency compared diesel electrical propulsion
