Abstract
Didalam dunia kerja dan bisnis, umumnya pebisnis dan pekerja melakukan pertemuan-pertemuan penting dengan rekan bisnis dan rekan kerjanya. Hotel menjadi salah satu tempat yang sering digunakan untuk pertemuan penting. Setiap hotel memiliki suasana, tema dan desain interior tersendiri yang mampu membuat pengunjung untuk merasa nyaman berada di hotel tersebut. Desain interior yang memiliki ciri khas tersendiri memberikan pengunjung impresi tema hotel yang berbeda dengan hotel lainnya. Hotel Horison Bekasi merupakan salah satu hotel bintang 4 yang berada di Kota Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Letak hotel yang berada di Kota Bekasi sebagai urban hotel membuat Hotel Horison Bekasi menjadi hotel yang kental akan kehidupan perkotaan, padahal daerah Bekasi dahulunya adalah perkampungan penduduk yang kaya akan nuansa budaya Bekasi. Inilah yang menjadi landasan bagi desainer untuk meredesain Hotel Horison Bekasi dengan mengangkat kembali nuansa etnik budaya yang ada dan masih eksis di daerah Bekasi. Sebelum menentukan desain interior untuk Hotel Horison Bekasi, desainer melakukan beberapa tahapan metodologi desain terlebih dahulu. Tahapan ini diawali dengan mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang ada pada eksisting, merumuskan permasalahan tersebut dan menentukan tujuan dari desain akhir yang akan didapatkan nanti. Tahapan selanjutnya adalah mengumpulkan data baik data primer yang didapatkan melalui observasi dan penyebaran kuisioner maupun data sekunder melalui studi pustaka dan pembanding, analisa data hingga ditemukan beberapa permasalahan dan konsep desain yang sesuai untuk Hotel Horison Bekasi. Kemudian desainer melanjutkan pada tahapan proses desain dengan membuat beberapa alternatif desain yang akan dipilih satu buah desain untuk terus dikembangkan hingga mendapatkan desain akhir. Desain Akhir berupa desain Hotel Horison Bekasi dengan perpaduan antara kesan mewah dan sentuhan etnik. Kesan mewah ditampilkan melalui aspek material, pencahayaan dan warna. Sedangkan sentuhan etnik ditampilkan melalui bentuk-bentuk khas dari kebudayaan Kota Bekasi.

In the world of work and business, mostly businessmen and workers perform important meetings with business associates and colleagues. Hotel became one of the places that are often used for important meetings. Every hotel has the atmosphere, its own theme and interior design that is able to make the visitors to feel comfortable in the hotel. The interior design has its own characteristics that give visitors the impression of a different theme hotel with other hotels. Hotel Horison Bekasi is a 4 star hotel located in Bekasi, West Java. The location of hotel in the city of Bekasi as urban hotel Hotel Horison Bekasi made into a hotel condensed urban life, whereas in the Bekasi area formerly the township population that is rich in cultural nuances Bekasi. This is the foundation for designers to redesign the Hotel Horison Bekasi by lifting the back feel of ethnic cultures that exist and still exists in the area of Bekasi. Before determining the interior design for the Hotel Horison Bekasi, designers do some advance stages of design methodology. This phase begins with identifying the existing problems in the existing, formulating the problem and determine the destination of the final design to be obtained later. The next stage is to collect data both on primary data obtained through observation and questionnaires and secondary data through literature and comparators, data analysis until there are problems and design concepts appropriate to Hotel Horison Bekasi. Then designers continue at the stage of the design process by making some design alternatives will have a single design to be developed to get the final design. Final Design Hotel Horison Bekasi form design with a blend of luxurious and ethnic touch. Luxurious image displayed through the material aspects, lighting and color. While ethnic touch display through distinctive forms of cultural Bekasi.
