Abstract

Pada perkembangan dunia teknologi saat ini, game sudah
banyak dikembangkan dalam berbagai platform, antara lain
konsol, Personal Computer, dan yang paling marak diantaranya
adalah game pada mobile platform.Mobile game memiliki
controlling yang relatif lebih sederhana dibandingkan
memainkan game pada PC dan konsol. Ada banyak jenis
controlling pada mobile game, seperti tap, swipe, dan gesture.
Pada perkembangannya, game dengan controlling yang
menerapkan handwriting recognition belum begitu banyak
dilakukan.
Argon and the Cursed Sword merupakan game dengan
genre arcade yang menggunakan handwriting recognition
sebagai controlling utama pada permainan. Game ini
dikembangkan untuk mobile platform dengan sistem operasi
Android. Untuk menerapkan handwriting recognition akan
digunakan metode Decision Tree.
Hasil pengujian dari tugas akhir ini menunjukkan bahwa
metode Decision Tree dapat digunakan untuk membuat
handwriting recognition dengan cukup baik. Selain itu
berdasarkan hasil kuesioner, game yang dikembangkan juga
dinilai menarik untuk dimainkan

On the development of today's technological world, the
game has been developed in a variety of platforms, including
consoles, personal computers, and the most popular is the game
on the mobile platform.Mobile game has a controlling that
relatively simple compared to games on PC and consoles. There
are many types of controlling in mobile games, such as tap, swipe
and gesture. On development, game that implement handwriting
recognition as controlling is not so much.
Argon and the Cursed Sword is an arcade game that uses
handwriting recognition as the main controlling in the game. The
game is developed for mobile platforms with Android operating
system. To implement handwriting recognition the methods that
will be used is Decision Tree.
The test results of this final project show that Decision
Tree method can be used to make handwriting recognition quite
well. In addition based on the results of questionnaires, a game
developed is also considered feasible to play
