Abstract
Sistem pengisian baterai telah dirancang berbasis mikrokontroler keluarga Atmel
ATMega32. Rancang bangun ini menggunakan sensor ACS712 sebagai pengontrol arus dan
tegangan pada saat pengisian. Sistem ini bertujuan mempercepat waktu pengisian tanpa
merusak sel pada baterai dan membangun sistem pengisian cepat menggunakan metode
pengisian arus konstan. Dalam proses pengisian baterai perlu diperhatikan tahap – tahap
selama pengisiannya agar dapat memperpanjang usia baterai yakni dengan menjaga konstan
arus pada saat pengisian baterai (Constan Current). Baterai yang digunakan juga
mempengaruhi sistem yang dibuat agar dapat mempercepat dan mengefisienkan waktu
pengisian tanpa merusak baterai. Baterai yang digunakan adalah Lead Acied 12V/5Ah.
Pengisian baterai tersebut memiliki beberapa perlakuan dan variasi saat pengisian dan variasi
susunan baterai yaitu secara seri dan secara parallel dengan jumlah baterai yang sama. Dari
rancang bangun sistem yang dihasilkan data yang diperoleh kemampuan mempercepat
pengisian dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan arus yang lebih besar dan sesuai dengan
rekomendasi arus yang diperbolehkan. Arus konstan yang digunakan pada impementasi ini
yaitu 0.5 Ampere – 1 Ampere. Karateristik yang diperoleh dari implementasi yang dibangun
yaitu temperatur operasi 25°C - 45 °C. Arus maksimum pengisian 3.82 Ampere

Battery charging management system has been designed based of ATMega32 Atmel
microcontroller families. The Implementation’s design uses a sensor ACS712 to controlling
and monitoring current and voltage during the charging. This system aims to speed up the
charging time without damaging the cells of the battery. In the process of charging the
batteries need to be considered part of the part during its contents in order to extend the
battery life by the keeping a constant current during battery charging (Constant Current).
Batteries are used also affects the system created in order to accelerate and to be effective in
the charging time without damaging the battery. The batteries used are Acied Lead 12V /
5Ah. The battery charging has several treatments and variations during charging and battery
arrangement variations are in series and in parallel with the same number of batteries. Design
of system generated data acquired ability to accelerate the charging can be done by using a
greater flow and in accordance with current recommendations is allowed. Constant current
used in this Implementation of 0.5 Ampere - 1 Ampere. Characteristics derived from the
implementation that is built ie operating temperature of 25 ° C - 45 ° C. The maximum
current to operation system charging 3.82 Amperes
