Abstract
Selama masa operasinya, fixed jacket structure terkena beban siklis dari gelombang dan angin yang dapat menyebabkan retak (crack). Retak ini lama-kelamaan akan mengalami perambatan hingga mencapai ukuran retak kritis yang dapat menyebabkan kegagalan pada struktur. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya analisis umur kelelahan sebagai evaluasi untuk mencegah terjadinya kegagalan. Fracture mechanics merupakan metode untuk menentukan perilaku kepecahan pada suatu struktur menggunakan parameter-parameter seperti tegangan (stress) dan ukuran retak (crack size). Pada tugas akhir ini, joint kritis 401 pada platform Attaka B digunakan dalam analisis umur kelelahan. Dengan asumsi bentuk crack semielliptical dengan menggunakan metode linear elastic fracture mechanics. Hasil analisis didapatkan nilai StressIntensity Factor(SIF) pada kedalaman retak ,a, 0,75 mm sebesar 2,15 MPam menggunakan persamaan surface crack. Kecepatan perambatan retak pada kedalaman retak ,a, 0,75 mm memiliki nilai sebesar 2,7 E09 in/cycle untuk perhitungan dengan software ANSYS dan 2,0 E-09 in/cycle untuk perhitungan manual. Hasil analisis umur kelelahan sebesar 1,1 E+08 cycle dengan software ANSYS dan 1,0 E+08 dengan perhitungan manual.

Fixed jacket platform is one of offshore structure that support exploration and exploitation of oil and gas. During the operation, fixed jacket platform exposed to cyclic load from waves and wind that may cause crack. This crack lead to failure of fixed jacket platform when crack reach a critical size. Therefore, fatigue life analysis is necesary to be performed to prevent failure. Fracture mechanics is a method to determine the behavior of fracture to structure using Stress Intensity Factor (SIF) parameter which include apllied stress and crack size (a). In this final project, critical joint 401 Attaka B platform used in the fatigue life analysis. Assuming the form of a semi-elliptical crack by using Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics (LEFM). The result of the analysis obtained that SIF crack size ,a, 0,75 mm is 2,15 MPam. Crack propagation rate at crack size ,a, 0,75 mm has a value of 2,7 E-09 in/cycle using ANSYS and 2,0 E-09 in/cycle for manual calculation. The result of the fatigue life analysis 1,1 E+08 using ANSYS and 1,0 E+08 for manual calculation.
