Abstract
PLTA Sutami PT. PJB Unit Pembangkitan Brantas adalah sistem pembangkit tenaga air mengubah energi potensial air (energi gravitasi air) menjadi energi listrik. Drainage pump pada PLTA Sutami merupakan alat bantu untuk mengalirkan buangan air pendingin dan kebocoran-kebocoran pada system. Sehingga pada tugas akhir ini, dibahas mengenai pemilihan pompa agar air yang di buang dapat mengalir dari sump tank ke tailrace sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar kapasitas perencanaan, HeadEfektif, NPSHA dan daya motor yang dibutuhkan untuk menggerakkan pompa Drainage Pump. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan teoritis. Selain itu, dilakukan juga perhitungan dengan metode numeric dengan menggunakan Software Pipe FlowExpert v5.12 Pada hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai kapasitas sebesar 120 m3/h , Heff sebesar 18,9 m , NPSHA sebesar 10,31 m dan daya motor sebesar 9,12 kW. Sehingga pemilihan pompa jenis sentrifugal single stage dengan tipe VF-W-M sudah tepat

PLTA Sutami in PT. PJB Brantas Power Unit is a water power plant system that converts the potential energy of water (water gravitational energy) into electrical energy. Drainage pump in PLTA Sutamiis a helper tools for make it wasted cooling water and leakage from the system flows. So in this thesis, discussed about the election of the pump because waste water can flows from sump tank to tailrace according necessary. This study aims to determine large-capacity planning, headefectiffe, NPSHA and motor power required to drive the Drainage Pump. The calculation is performed by using theoretical calculations. In addition, the calculation is also performed by numerical methods using softwarepipeflow expert v5.12. At the calculation, the value of the capacity of 120 m3/h, Heff of 18,9 m, NPSHA of 10,31 m and a motor power of 9,12 kW. So the selection of a single stage centrifugal pump types with VF-W-M type is appropriate
