Abstract

Metode transportasi minyak dan gas lebih efektif dan efisien menggunakan pipeline.
Dengan menggunakan pipeline dapat mengurangi seperlima dari biaya menggunakan
transportasi tanker. Pada instalasi pipeline metode S-lay, biasanya pipa akan bertumpu
pada alat pendukung yang disebut stinger. Faktor beban yang diterima oleh stinger terjadi
secara tidak pasti. Sehingga perlunya analisa keandalan terhadap struktur stinger.
Simulasi Monte Carlo digunakan dalam memecahkan analisa keandalan tersebut. Pada
penelitian ini akan menggunakan pipa berdiameter 42 inch dengan batas kedalaman laut
1000 m. Stinger yang digunakan sepanjang 145m – Jascon 18 milik SEA TRUCK GRUP.
Hasil penelitian ini akan memperoleh response amplitude operator (RAO) akibat beban
lingkungan dan stinger, tegangan yang terjadi pada stinger saat diinstalasi, dan keandalan
struktur stinger. Berdasarkan analisis diketahui bahwa struktur stinger mempengaruhi
hasil RAO. Analisis tegangan yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil distribusi tegangan von
mises mengikuti distribusi weibull dengan mean sebesar 17.108 Ksi dan standar deviasi
sebesar 11.518 Ksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan perhitungan keandalan struktur stinger
didapatkan keandalan sebesar 0.98 pada jumlah simulasi 100 kali, keandalan sebesar
0.986 pada jumlah simulasi 500 kali, keandalan sebesar 0.983 pada jumlah simulasi 1000
kali, keandalan sebesar 0.982 pada jumlah simulasi 3000 kali, keandalan sebesar 0.981
pada jumlah simulasi 10000 kali

Oil and gas transportation is more efficient by using pipeline. The using of pipeline can
reduce 20% transport cost than tanker. The pipeline installation of S-lay method, usually
the pipeline will rest on a supporting tool called a stinger. Load factors received by
stinger occurs is uncertain. So, reliability analysis of the structure stinger is needed.
Monte Carlo simulation is used to solve the reliability analysis. This research will use a
42-inch diameter pipeline with a limit of 1000 m sea depth. The stinger is 145m - Jascon
18 belongs to SEA TRUCK GROUP. This study will obtain response amplitude operator
(RAO) of Jascon 18 include stinger, member stress at stinger that occurs at the time
pipeline is installed, and the reliability of structural. Based on the analysis show that the
structure of stinger affect the RAO results. The results obtained von mises stress
distribution follows weibull distribution with a mean of 17.108 Ksi and a standard
deviation of 11.518 Ksi. Based on the analysis and calculation of the reliability of
structures stinger obtained reliability of 0.98 in the amount of simulations 100 times,
reliability of 0.986 in the amount of simulations 500 times, reliability of 0.983 in the
amount of simulation 1000 times, the reliability of 0.982 in the amount of simulation
3000 times, reliability of 0.981 in the amount of simulation 10000 times
