Abstract
Safety merupakan syarat penting dalam menjalankan
kegiatan produksi pada industri. Keamanan dalam pabrik perlu
diperhatikan terutama terhadap node berbahaya seperti
superheater dan burner. Besarnya risiko bahaya harus diimbangi
dengan adanya sistem pengamanan seperti Safety Instrumented
System (SIS). Sistem pada superheater dan burner dianalisis
bahayanya dengan metode Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) serta
dihitung tingkat keamanan Safety Integrity Level (SIL) melalui
metode Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA). Berdasarkan
penelitian yang dilakukan pada tugas akhir ini, superheater dan
burner memiliki tiga kategori resiko diantaranya high sebesar 25%,
sedangkan hasil yang sama pada kategori low dan medium sebesar
37,5%. Perhitungan nilai SIL yang telah dilakukan dengan metode
LOPA menunjukkan angka SIL 0 untuk loop sistem yang mewakili
jalannya proses kecuali pada TV-1020 yang bernilai NR (Not
Required). Rekomendasi yang diberikan untuk meningkatkan nilai
SIL atau reduksi resiko maka ditambahkan alarm HH LL pada
(XV-1421-A & XV-1241-B), (PV-1018-A & PV-1018-B) dan PV-
1013.

Safety is a important requirement in carrying out production
activities in the industry. Safety in the factory need to be considered,
especially against malicious nodes such as superheater and burner. The
magnitude of the risk of harm must be balanced with the system of
safeguards such as safety instrumented system (SIS). So the system in
superheater and burner analyzed by the method of Hazard and
Operability (HAZOP) and the safety level is calculated Safety Integrity
Level (SIL) through the method of Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA).
Based on research conducted in this thesis, superheater and burner has
three categories of such high risk by 25%, while the same results in the
category of low and medium of 37.5%. SIL value calculation has been
done by the method LOPA showed SIL 0 for loop systems that represent
the course of the process except the TV-1020 is worth NR (Not Required).
Recommendations are given to increase the value of SIL or risk reduction
then added LL HH alarm on (XV-1421-A & XV-1241-B), (PV-1018-A and
1018-B PV) and PV-1013.
