Abstract
Kondisi geografis negara Indonesia yang sebagian besar wilayahnya terdiri dari lautan, maka dilakukan pengembangan pemanfaatan energi kelautan dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan gelombang laut sebagai energi pembangkit listrik. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan rancangan pengkonversi energi gelombang laut menjadi energi listrik yang sederhana dan diharapkan dapat diaplikasikan pada daerah-daerah pesisir pantai. Dalam penelitian ini, alat pengkonversi yang dirancang berupa multi salter duck pada bangunan apung tipe ponton. Dengan melakukan perhitungan maka dihasilkan beberapa desain yaitu; Desain salter duck dengan jumlah 4 buah dengan dimensi lebar 7,7 meter, dan diameter 5,04 meter. Desain ponton berjumlah 2 buah dengan masing-masing dimensi lebar 4 meter, panjang 8 meter, tinggi 7 meter dan sarat 5,2 meter. Desain poros dengan dimensi panjang 33,8 meter, diameter 13,62 meter dan torsi sebesar 99482,7 N.m. Desain roda gigi rachet berjumlah 4 buah dengan masing-masing dimensi diameter luar 750 mm, tebal 180 mm, lubang poros 150 mm, jumlah gigi 30, kedalaman gigi 60 mm dan sudut gigi 60°. Selain itu diperlukan pawl sebagai pendorong roda gigi dengan torsi 26877,7 N.m

Geographical of Indonesia which most of its territory consists of seas, then the development of marine energy utilization by leveraging the power of ocean waves as an energy power plants. Therefore it takes a draft converting ocean wave energy into electrical energy that is simple and can be applied in coastal areas. In this study, converter tool which is designed in the form of multi salter duck on the floating structure pontoon type. By doing calculations then produced several designs namely; Design salter duck with 4 pieces with a dimensiowidth of 7.7 meters and a diameter of 5.04 meters. Design pontoon totaling 2 pieces with each dimension width of 4 meters, 8 meters long, 7 meters high and 5.2 meters loaded. Shaft design with dimensions of length of 33.8 meters, diameter of 13.62 meters and a torque of 99482.7 N.m Rachet gear wheel design consists of 4 pieces with each dimension of outer diameter 750 mm, 180 mm thick, 150 mm bore, the number of teeth 30, 60 mm tooth depth and tooth angle of 60 °. Also required pawl as a spur gear with a torque of 26877.7 N.m
