Abstract

Masalah utama budidaya tembakau adalah serangan hama
atau Arthropoda herbivora, yang dapat menurunkan
produktivitasnya.
herbivora.
Lokasi penelitian adalah lahan tembakau Desa
Sengonagung, Purwosari, Pasuruan, selama 4 bulan.
menghitung tingkat kerusakan daun tembakau. Sampel
Arthropoda herbivora dianalisa dengan indeks keanekaragaman
Shannon – Wiener (H’), kemerataan jenis (E), dan kesamaan
komunitas Morisita-Horn (CMH).
menunjukkan pengaruh kelimpahan Arthropoda Herbivora
dengan tingkat kerusakan daun sebesar 39.5%

The main problem of Tobacco crops are pests or
herbivore Arthropods attack, which may reduce its productivity.
One of alternative of pest control which environmental friendly
without use of synthetic pesticide is habitat modification with
insectary plant. Main goal of this research is knowing the
utilization of insectary plant Crotalaria juncea L. in modification
of tobacco lawn to manages herbivore Arthropods community
and surpresses tobacco damage which caused by attack of
herbivore Arthropods.
The research location is tobacco filed Sengonagung village,
Purwosari, Pasuruan, during 4 month. Sample collecting of
herbivore Arthropods taken using the Yellow Pan Trap, Sweep
net and Hand collecting method, then calculating level of leaf
tobacco damage. Herbivore Arthropods sample was analyzed
with Shannon-Wiener index of diversity (H’), Species Evenness
(E), and Morisita-Horn index of community similarity (CMH).
Statistic analysis using Anova One Way, correlation test and
regression test, with standart of 5%.
The result of this research is utilization of modification
habitat with insectary plant C. juncea which affects herbivore
Arthropods composition and abundance in modification field.
Modification habitat effects may distract Amata huebneri species
at generative phase and larva Spodoptera litura at reproductive
phase. Diversity (H’) and species evenness (E) herbivore
Arthropods in modification field more higher than in control
field. And herbivore Arthropods index of community similarity
(CMH) which most high is in tobacco control dan tobacoo
modification, with value 0.6581 or 65.81%. Utilization of habitat
modification can reduce damage of tobacco leaves on
modification field. Level of leaf tobacco damage in control and
modification field there are difference of significal, shown at P
value of 0.01. Result of correlation test shown abundance of
herbivore Athropods has a strong connection with leaves damage
at insectary plant C. juncea. Result of reggression test shown
herbivore Athropods influence with rate of leaves damage at
39.5%
