Abstract
Dalam Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) pembuatan terasi
masih menggunakan alat yang sederhana dan cara manual, untuk
menghancurkan udang rebon.Salah satu alternatif untuk
meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas produksi Terasi adalah membuat
mesin hammer mill.
Mesin Hammer mill yang akan dirancang ini lebih
sederhana, dengan gaya hasil penghancur lebih besar dan konstan,
sehingga diperlukan perhitungan gaya,daya dan diameter poros yang
aman.
Dari hasil perhitungan dan analisa,didapatkan gaya sebesar
F=3,246 N daya motor HP,direncanakan besar diameter poros
sebesar 25 mm sesuai kebutuhan,dan diameter poros minimum yang
di dapat dari perhitungan untuk mesin Hammer Mill adalah 12 mm,
jadi dapat di simpulkan mesin Hammer Mill aman untuk digerakkan
