Abstract
Kegiatan mutasi dan promosi karyawan di PT. X saat ini masih dilakukan secara
intuitif dan memiliki beberapa kelemahan antara lain dibutuhkan banyak waktu dan tenaga
untuk melakukan pencarian dan pengumpulan informasi dan rawan akan terjadinya
subjektivitas ataupun kecurangan saat proses pemilihan kandidat dilakukan. Karena itu
diusulkan sistem perbaikan dengan membuat suatu rancangan sistem informasi mutasi dan
promosi karyawan yang berfungsi sebagai alat bantu yang dapat mempermudah HRD dalam
memilih kandidat yang tepat untuk mengisi suatu jabatan yang sedang lowong.
Sistem informasi mutasi dan promosi karyawan dirancang dengan menggunakan
Unified Modeling Language (UML). Rancangan sistem informasi mutasi dan promosi
karyawan akan diawali dengan menganalisis kelemahan sistem saat ini dengan bantuan suatu
flowchart. Proses dilanjutkan dengan perancangan sistem informasi sebagai usulan perbaikan.
Perbaikan dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Use Case Diagram, Class Diagram dan
Sequence Diagram. Hasil dari usulan perbaikan yaitu berupa rancangan sistem informasi
mutasi dan promosi karyawan

The mutation and promotion activities of employees at PT. X is still done by
intuitively and has several weaknesses. It takes a lot of time and effort to do search and
information gathering. Moreover, the current state is susceptible to the subjectivity or fraud
during the process of candidate selection. The solution to cover the weaknesses of the current
system is by creating the information systems design of mutation and promotion of employees
as a tool that can facilitate the HRD team to choose the right candidate to fill a vacant position.
The information systems of mutation and promotion of employees designed using the
Unified Modeling Language (UML). It begins by analyzing the weaknesses of the current
system with the aid of a flowchart. The process continued with information system design as
proposed improvements. The improvement is using the models of the Use Case Diagram, Class
Diagram and Sequence Diagram. The results of the proposed improvements are the form of
information systems design of mutation and promotion of employees
