Abstract

forecasting). Peramalan penjualan akan memberikan gambaran tentang
kemampuan menjual di waktu yang akan datang. Metode yang digunakan untuk
peramalan sangat beragam. Salah satu metode peramalan yang sering digunakan
adalah metode time series. Penelitian ini menampilkan dua metode peramalan
yaitu Support Vector Regression (SVR) dan Fuzzy Time Series.

Sales is one of the most important indicators of a company. When the
level of sales generated from the company is large, when profit of the company
generated would be greater so that the company can with stand the competition
and develop their businesses. In this case, an effective way and plays an important
role to increase it is profit is the sales forecast. Sales forecast will provide an
overview of the ability to sell in the future. The method used for forecasting very
diverse. One method of forecasting that is often used is the method of time series.
This study featured two forecasting methods, namely Support Vector Regression
(SVR) and Fuzzy Time Series. The purpose of this study was to compare the
value of the error rate of the two methods for forecasting results are calculated
based on the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The data used in this
study is the actual data from two types of seed sales pariah. From the test results
using both methods showed the MAPE using SVR to green pariah by 2,1253 ×
10−9 and white pariah 1,3 × 10−3 while the value of MAPE using Fuzzy Time
Seriesto green pariah by 4,1619 × 10−2 and white pariah by 3,5321 × 10−2 It
concluded that forecasting sales of seeds pariah using SVR method provides
better performance than Fuzzy Time Series
