Abstract
Palang pintu untuk perlintasan kereta api merupakan salah satu elemen terpenting dalam mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kereta api. Sistem kontrol otomatis sangat diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ini. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan PLC ( Programmable Logic Controller). Dalam tugas akhir ini dirancang sebuah plant palang pintu kereta otomatis berbasis PLC CUBLOC menggunakan sensor inframerah E18-D80NK. Plant ini memiliki sistem tutup palang ketika sensor mendeteksi kedatangan kereta, sistem palang terbuka ketika sensor mendeteksi gerbong belakang kereta, dan sistem lampu dan buzzer ketika sensor mendeteksi kendaraan. Pada uji karakteristik sensor didapatkan bahwa sensor kedatangan memiliki range sebesar 0 cm-82 cm ,nilai span sebesar 82 dan sensitivitas sebesar 0,846. Sensor kepergian sebesar memiliki range 0 cm -82 cm, nilai span sebesar 82 dan nilai sensitivitas sebesar 0,85. Sensor kendaraan memiliki range 0 cm-81 cm, nilai span sebesar 81 dan sensitivitas sebesar 0,798. Peletakan sensor pada kereta sebenarnya yaitu sejauh 4,8 km sebelum palang, 12 m setelah palang pintu. Peletakan sensor pada miniatur dilakukan dengan perbandingan sebesar 1:12.000. Pada pengujian respon diperoleh hasil bahwa sistem palang tutup memiliki pada sistem palang tutup memiliki settling time sebesar 10 detik, error steady state rata-rata sebesar 0,2 V , dan overshoot maksimum sebesar 1,1 V. Pada sistem palang buka memiliki settling time sebesar 10 detik, error steady state rata-rata sebesar 0,2 V , dan overshoot maksimum sebesar 1,2 V. Pada sistem lampu dan buzzer memiliki Settling time sebesar 10 detik, error steady state rata-rata sebesar 0,2V, dan overshoot maksimum sebesar 1,2 V.

Railway gate crossings is one of the most important elements in preventing railway accidents. Automatic control system is needed to resolve this problems by using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). In this final project designed a plant-based automatic railway gate based CUBLOC PLC using infrared sensors E18-D80NK as sensors coming and goings of the train, and as the vehicle sensor . In this plant has closed gate system when sensors detect the arrival of the train, the open gate system happen when the sensor detects the departure of the train , and light and buzzer system when the vehicle sensors detect vehicles. In the final project has been designed and manufactured automatic railway gate based PLC CUBLOC. In characteristics test of sensor obtained the arrival sensor has a range of 0 cm-82 cm, span value of 82 and the sensitivity value of 0.846. The departure sensor has a range 0cm of - 82 cm, span value of 82 and the sensitivity value of 0.85. the vehicle sensor has a range of 0 cm-81 cm, span value of 81 and the sensitivity value of 0.798. The laying of the sensor is as far as 4.8 km before railway gate and 12 m after railway gate. Laying the sensor on a miniature using a ratio of 1: 12,000. In the test results concluded the close gate system have the settling time of 10 seconds, error steady state of 0.2 V and the maximum overshoot of 1,1 V .
