Abstract

Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan sistem dynamic line rating ke dalam permasalah aliran daya optimal. Aplikasinya yaitu menghitung rating saluran menggunakan persamaan keseimbangan panas dengan berdasarkan rating suhunya. Akibatnya rating saluran yang biasanya bernilai statis bisa menjadi bernilai dinamis dan nilainya lebih tinggi sehingga sistem menjadi lebih baik. Namun karena hal tersebut, permasalahan optimal power flow menjadi lebih sulit karena penambahan variabel kontrol temperatur dan constraint persamaan keseimbangan panas. Pemodelan tersebut juga mengharuskan mempertimbangan rugi-rugi transmisi ke dalam permasalahan direct current optimal power flow (DCOPF). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quadratically constrained quadratic program dalam permasalahan direct current optimal power flow mempertimbangkan rugi-rugi transmisi dengan integrasi rating saluran dinamis berdasarkan persamaan keseimbangan panas. Pengujian metode dilakukan pada sistem IEEE 9 bus dan 30 bus. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa metode yang digunakan bisa menyelesaikan permasalahan optimal power flow dengan batasan persamaan keseimbangan panas dan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi rating saluran dinamis menjadikan sistem menjadi lebih ekonomis.

This research integrates the dynamic line rating system into an optimal power flow problem. The application is to calculate the line rating using the heat balance equation based on its temperature rating. As a result, line rating that is usually static can be dynamic and the value is higher so the system would be better. But because of this, the problem of optimal power flow becomes more difficult because of the addition of temperature variable control and heat balance equation constraint. The modelling also requires considering transmission losses into the direct current optimal power flow (DCOPF) problem. This study uses a quadratically constrained quadratic program method in a direct current optimal power flow problem considering transmission losses with the integration of dynamic line rating based on the heat balance equation. Method testing is performed on IEEE 9 bus and 30 bus system. The results show that the method used can solve the problem of optimal power flow with the heat balance equation and shows that the integration of dynamic line rating makes the system more economical.
