Abstract
PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri makanan yaitu memproduksi permen jahe. Pengendalian kualitas menjadi proses yang penting dalam produksi karena akan mempengaruhi kualitas hasil akhir permen untuk memenuhi standar produksi yang ada. Permasalahan yang terjadi dalam penerapan proses pengendalian kualitas adalah bagian Departemen Quality Control (QC) sulit untuk memantau proses yang telah dikerjakan dan mengetahui status dari hasil, mengetahui proses yang telah selesai dikerjakan dan disetujui maupun ditolak karena tidak ada pemberitahuan secara real-time, dan melihat riwayat proses pengendalian kualitas. Masalah ini berdampak pada traceability menjadi rendah.
Untuk menyelesaikan masalah di atas maka pada tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan otomatisasi proses bisnis pengendalian kualitas pada proses produksi permen jahe dengan pendekatan proses. Proses penelitian dilakukan hingga menghasilkan executable model yang akan diotomatisasi menggunakan tools ProcessMaker. Tahap dalam mengimplementasi executable model adalah identifikasi batasan otomatisasi, meninjau manual task, melengkapi model proses, menyesuaikan dengan task granularity, dan menentukan properti ekskusi sehingga menghasilkan otomatisasi berbasis web untuk mengotomatisasi proses penerimaan raw material (RM) dan packing material (PM). Tools ProcessMaker ini memiliki fitur Dynaform berfungsi untuk mengubah formulir fisik menjadi digital yang akan memudahkan Departemen Quality Control untuk mencatat data material yang diterima. Hasil otomatisasi diverifikasi oleh peneliti untuk memastikan bahwa sistem telah berjalan sesuai dengan baik dengan cara menjalankan proses berdasarkan case yang diberikan. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil validasi kepada end-user dengan mengkonfirmasi menggunakan skenario bahwa sistem telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan berjalan sesuai standar operasional (SOP) yang diterapkan oleh Departemen Quality Control.
Hasil dari sistem otomatisasi ini dapat membantu mengatasi masalah yang terjadi pada proses penerimaan raw material (RM) dan packing material (PM) dalam melakukan pencatatan penerimaan material, memantau proses yang sedang dijalankan, dan pemberian persetujuan serta status mutu material yang diberikan. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan traceability pada proses penerimaan material.

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the food industry that is producing ginger candy. Quality control becomes an important process as it affects the quality of candy production to meet existing production standards. The problem in implementing the quality control process is that the department of Quality Control (QC) is difficult to monitor the processes that have been done and to know the status of the results, knowing the processes that have been completed and approved or rejected because there is no real-time notification, and see the history of quality control process. This issue impacts traceability to low.
To resolve the problem above then on this thesis will be built automation of business process quality control on the ginger candy production process with process approach. The research process is done to generate executable models that will be automated using ProcessMaker tools. The stage in implementing the executable model is the identification of the limitation of automation, reviewing the task manual, complementing the process model, adjusting to the task granularity, and specifying the properties of the excavations thereby generating web-based automation to automate the process of receiving raw materials (RM) and packing materials (PM). This ProcessMaker tool has a Dynaform feature to transform physical forms into digital that will make it easier for the Quality Control department to record the material data received. The automation results are verified by researchers to ensure that the system has been running in a good way by executing processes based on the given case. Further based on the validation result to end-user by confirming using the scenario that the system is in accordance with the needs and running according to operational standards (SOP) applied by the Quality Contro departmentl.
The results of this automation system can help solve problems that occur in the process of receiving raw material (RM) and packing material (PM) in recording material acceptance, monitor the processes being run, and the approval and quality status of materials provided. So, it can increase the effectiveness and traceability on the material acceptance process.
