Abstract

Energi listrik yang dihasilkan panel surya telah digunakan
sebagai solusi energi terbarukan untuk menunjang kehidupan
manusia. Dalam kenyataannya, energi alternatif ini belum banyak
digunakan karena kendala dari investasi awal yang mahal
sehingga perlu dirancang komponen pembangkit listik tenaga
surya yaitu salah satunya solar charge controller yang handal,
optimal, efisien dan ekonomis. Pembuatan dan penelitian
mengenai solar charge controller dilakukan dengan
menggunakan sistem open loop. Kontroler dibuat tanpa mendapat
feedback dari sensor. Kontroler yang dibuat menggunakan
metode switching. Proses switching dapat terjadi dengan cara
mengatur duty cycle melalui stm32f Nucleo Board pada rangkaian
solar charge controller. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian didapat nilai
duty cycle sebesar 1% hingga 20% dapat terjadi proses switching.
Duty cycle yang telah diatur pada solar charge controller 5,124%.
Tegangan input dari panel surya sebesar ±19,6 volt dapat
diregulasi menjadi ±14,5 volt dengan arus rata-rata sebesar 0,6 A
oleh solar charge controller. Berdasarkan spesifikasi charging
aki, output kontroler tersebut dapat digunakan untuk charging aki
12 volt. Ketika proses charging, dibandingkan daya input dan
daya output dari kontroler didapat rata-rata efisiensi solar charge
controller sebesar 26,65904%

The electrical energy produced by the solar panels have
been used as a renewable energy solution to support human life.
In fact, alternative energy has not been widely used because of
the constraints of the initial investment is expensive so it needs to
be designed solar electric plant components, namely one solar
charge controller that is reliable, optimal, efficient and
economical. Preparation and research on the solar charge
controller is done using open-loop system. The controller is made
without getting feedback from the sensors. The controllers are
made using the method of switching. The process of switching
may occur by adjusting the duty cycle through stm32f Nucleo
Board on a series of solar charge controller. Based on test results
obtained value of the duty cycle of 1% to 20% could be switching
process. Duty cycle which has been set at 5.124% solar charge
controller. The input voltage of the solar panel by ± 19.6 volts
can be regulated to ± 14.5 volts with an average current of 0.6 A
by the solar charge controller. Based on the specifications of
charging the battery, the controller output can be used for
charging the 12-volt battery. When the charging process,
compared to the power input and power output of the controller
obtained the average efficiency of solar charge controller of
26.65904%
