Abstract

Salah satu proses penting di PG Gempol Krep Mojokerto
adalah proses pembuatan uap kering di boiler untuk menggerakkan
generator. Proses pada boiler merupakan proses yang memiliki
potensi bahaya tinggi. Terdapatnya potensi bahaya pada proses
tersebut, tentunya akan menimbulkan potensi kerugian yang cukup
besar. Oleh karena itu diperlukan studi yang bertujuan
memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan penilaian resiko melalui
studi HAZOP. Hasil study HAZOP pada boiler menunjukkan
rusaknya pressure transmitter dikarenakan dari pressure yang
terlalu tinggi dan mengakibatkan retakan pada tangki. Kegagalan
control valve (LCV 101) yang dapat mengakibatkan rusaknya
pompa. Dari HAZOP worksheet, diperoleh instrument yang
memiliki risiko rendah adalah flow element.

One of the important processes in PG Gempol Krep
Mojokerto is the process of making dry steam in the boiler to
drive a generator. The process of the boiler is a process that
has a high hazard potential. The presence of potential
hazards in the process, will create the potential for
substantial losses. Therefore we need a study that aims to
provide recommendations based on risk assessment through
the HAZOP study. The results of the HAZOP study shows the
boiler pressure transmitter damage because of the pressure
that is too high and lead to cracks in the tank. Failure of the
control valve (LCV 101) which can cause damage to the
pump. Of HAZOP worksheet, acquired instruments, which
have a low risk is a flow element.
