Abstract
Kota Tangerang Selatan merupakan salah satu kota pendukung bagi Kota Jakarta yang biasa dikenal dengan Bodetabek. Dengan luas wilayah 147,2 km2, Tangerang Selatan memiliki jumlah penduduk sebanyak lebih dari 1,6 juta jiwa. Berdasarkan data PDRB tahun 2007, sektor usaha transportasi dan komunikasi di Tangerang Selatan merupakan sektor ekonomi yang mendominasi wilayah tersebut. Seiring dengan bertambahnya penduduk kota ini, berkembang pula perekonomian penduduk setempat yang mengakibatkan bertambahnya jumlah pemilik dan pengguna kendaraan pribadi dengan pesat. Karena pertumbuhan jumlah pemilik kendaraan pribadi ini tidak dibarengi dengan penambahan fasilitas transportasi yang seimbang, maka sering terjadi kemacetan pada wilayah kota Tangerang Selatan. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah solusi untuk mengurai kemacetan dengan cara memaksimalkan manfaat dari transportasi umum seperti commuter line.
Salah satu solusi untuk memaksimalkan fasilitas penunjang transportasi adalah dengan dibangunnya gedung park and ride pada Stasiun Rawa Buntu, Kecamatan Serpong, Kota Tangerang Selatan. Dalam perencanaan gedung Park and Ride dibutuhkan data pendukung untuk mempermudah dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir ini yaitu data sekunder. Data sekunder berupa volume kendaraan tiap jamnya di lahan parkir eksisting, kondisi lahan parkir eksisting yang diambil dengan bantuan Google earth, jumlah penumpang per-tahun di Stasiun Rawa Buntu, dan layout lahan parkir eksisting yang diambil dari internet. Data-data tersebut kemudian diolah untuk merencanakan gedung Park and Ride ini.
Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data tersebut menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Microsoft Excel, didpatkan jumlah demand pengguna park and ride untuk umur rencana 5 tahun sebesar 400 sepeda motor dan 700 mobil. Dari jumlah demand tersebut direncanakan gedung park and ride dengan kapasitas parkir 400 sepeda motor dan 779 mobil, dengan jumlah lantai parkir 3 lantai dan 1 lantai dasar.

South Tangerang City is one of the supporting cities for Jakarta, commonly known as Bodetabek. With an area of 147.2 km2, South Tangerang has a population of more than 1.6 million. Based on the 2007 GRDP data, the transportation and communication business sector in South Tangerang is the economic sector that dominates the region. As the population of this city grows, the economy of the local population also develops, resulting in a rapid increase in the number of owners and users of private vehicles. Because the growth in the number of private vehicle owners is not accompanied by the addition of a balanced transportation facility, congestion often occurs in the area of South Tangerang city. Therefore, we need a solution to unravel congestion by maximizing the benefits of public transportation such as the commuter line.
One solution to optimize the transportation support facilities is the construction of a park and ride building at Rawa Buntu Station, Serpong District, South Tangerang City. In planning the Park and Ride building, supporting data is needed to facilitate the completion of this thesis, namely secondary data. Secondary data in the form of vehicle volume per hour in the existing parking lot, the condition of the existing parking lot taken with the help of Google Earth, the number of passengers per year at Rawa Buntu Station, and the layout of the existing parking lot taken from the internet. The data is then processed to plan the Park and Ride building.
Based on the results of data processing using the help of Microsoft Excel application, it is obtained that the number of park and ride users demand for the 5-year plan life is 400 motorcycles and 700 cars. Of the total demand, it is planned that the park and ride building will have a parking capacity of 400 motorbikes and 779 cars, with a number of parking floors as many as 3 floors and 1 ground floor.
