Abstract

Gelombang laut merupakan salah satu sumber energi terbarukan yang memiliki cadangan melimpah di Indonesia. Dengan perairan Indonesia yang luas pengembangan pembangkit listrik tenaga gelombang laut perlu dikembangkan. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pembangkit listrik tenaga gelombang laut/PLTGL-SB yang di analisa terkait respon gerak ponton dan pendulumnya. Ponton yang digunakan adalah tipe Trimaran, yaitu terdiri dari lambung utama ponton berbentuk silinder dan dua jukung yang ada di kanan kirinya. Penelitian ini menganalisa susunan array paling stabil yang menghasilkan gerakan pitching dan simpangan pendulum maksimal serta pengaruh panjang kabel penghubungnya. Nilai pitching terbesar ada pada array jenis 1 panjang kabel 9 meter yaitu 26,540 di ponton 1 dan 39.150 di ponton 2. Sedangkan susunan array paling stabil ada pada array jenis 1 dengan panjang kabel 6 meter dengan nilai 27,910 di ponton 1 dan 38,920 di ponton 2 yang menghasilkan simpangan pendulum maksimal 99,950 di pendulum 1 dan 56,1680 di ponton 2 pada periode 8.7 detik. ============================================================ Ocean wave is one of energy source in Indonesia with outpouring alternative energy. The wide of water in Indonesia support the development of this kind renewable energy. This research focused on response ponton and the pendulum and using Ponton Trimaran with one main cylincder and two support cylinder in left and right main body. The research studied stability analysis of the array ponton which produce maximal pitching response and pendulum deviation with cable connecting structure. Array 1 with 9 meters cable has the biggest vaulue of pitching with 26,540 on ponton 1 and 39.150 on ponton 2. Meanwhile the best stability performed in array 1 with 6 meters cable with value 27,910 on ponton 1 and 38,920 on ponton 2 which produce pendulum deviation 99,950 on pendulum 1 and 56,1680 on ponton 2 in periode 8.7 s.
