Abstract

Monitoring parameter vital fisiologis pada tubuh manusia sangat penting dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi kesehatan tubuh manusia. Hal ini dapat digunakan dokter untuk melakukan diagnosis terhadap pasien sejak dini sehingga dapat memberikan perawatan medis yang tepat. Salah satu parameter yang penting untuk dimonitoring adalah laju pernapasan. Pada umumnya pengukuran laju pernapasan bersifat kontak, seperti pengukuran berbasis akustik, menggunakan alat electrocardiogram (ECG), pengukuran berbasis aliran udara, dan lain-lain. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan metode pengukuran laju pernapasan bersifat non-kontak berbasis pengolahan citra. Ketika pernapasan berlangsung, volume paru-paru akan berubah-ubah yang menyebabkan bagian dada akan berekspansi menjadi lebih besar pada saat proses inspirasi dan memengaruhi nilai pixel pada citra. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan pengukuran nilai pixel pada titik tulang selangka, leher, dan tulang dada ketika proses respirasi berjalan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat mengukur laju pernapasan manusia pada rentang 12 – 40 breath per minute (brpm). ================================================================================================================== Monitoring the vital physiological parameters of the human body is very important to be done to determine the health condition of the human body. This can be used by doctors to diagnose patients early so they can provide appropriate medical care. One important parameter to monitor is the respiratory rate. In general, measurements of respiratory rate are contact, such as acoustic-based measurements, using an electrocardiogram (ECG), air flow-based measurements, and others. In this study developed a method of measuring respiratory rate which is non-contact based on image processing. When breathing takes place, the volume of the lungs will change which causes the chest to expand to become larger during the process of inspiration and affect the pixel value in the image. The method used is to measure the pixel value at the point of the collarbone, neck, and sternum when the respiration process is running. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that this system can measure the rate of human breathing in the range of 12-40 breaths per minute (brpm).
