Abstract

5G merupakan generasi lanjutan dari generasi sebelumnya yaitu 4G yang memiliki kualitas sinyal yang lebih baik dan lebih cepat dari generasi sebelumnya. Dalam sistem BTS 5G, digunakan antena mikrostrip array yang dapat mempersempit beamwidth sehingga target yang dideteksi lebih akurat. Di dalam antena mikrostrip array terdapat power combiner/divider yang berfungsi untuk menggabungkan daya pada port input dan membagi daya pada port input menjadi beberapa port output. Parameter yang perlu diperhatikan pada power combiner/divider adalah dimensi, return loss dan insertion loss yang dibuat serendah mungkin.
Dalam penelitian ini, akan direalisasikan power divider yang bekerja pada frekuensi S band yang akan dimanfaatkan untuk Aplikasi Sistem BTS 5G. Power combiner/divider ini akan dirancang menggunakan metode Branchline coupler. Dari metode tersebut, diharapkan dapat merancang power combiner/divider 1 to 4 yang memiliki 1 port input dan 4 port output. Tujuan rancangan tersebut adalah untuk mengefektifkan dan mengefisiensikan pemakaian power combiner/divider pada aplikasi system BTS 5G.
Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini menghasilkan power divider 1 to 4 yang memiliki rentang frekuensi kerja 2,38 – 2,76 GHz dan 2,81 – 3,19 GHz. Power divider bekerja optimal pada frekuensi 2,6 GHz pada simulasi menghasilkan nilai return loss(S11) -13,49 dB dan nilai insertion loss (S21, S31, S41 dan S51) sebesar -9,99 dB, -4,85 dB, -5,84 dB, dan -10 dB

5G is an advanced generation from the previous generation, 4G which has a better signal quality and is faster than the previous generation. In a 5G BTS system, a microstrip array antenna is used which can narrow the beamwidth so that the detected target is more accurate. Inside the microstrip array antenna there is a power divider that functions to combine power at the input port and divide the power at the input port into several output ports. The parameters that need to be considered in the power divider are the dimensions, return loss and insertion loss that are made as low as possible.
In this research, a power divider will be realized that works on the S band frequency which will be utilized for the 5G BTS System Application. This combiner / divider power will be designed using the Branchline coupler method. From this method, it is expected to be able to design 1 to 4 power combiner / divider which has 1 input port and 4 output ports. The purpose of the design is to streamline and streamline the use of power dividers in 5G BTS system applications.
The final results of this study produce 1 to 4 power dividers which have a working frequency range of 2.38 - 2.76 GHz and 2.81 - 3.19 GHz. The power divider works optimally at a frequency of 2.6 GHz in the simulation resulting in a return loss (S11) value of -13.49 dB and an insertion loss value (S21, S31, S41 and S51) of -9.99 dB, -4.85 dB, -5, 84 dB, and -10 dB.
