Abstract

Buah durian merupakan tanaman buah tropis eksotik yang memiliki rasa dan aroma yg unik. Klorofil dan nitrogen merupakan zat penting yang dibutuhkan oleh tumbuhan. Kandungan klorofil dengan jumlah yang minim dapat menghambat metabolism tumbuhan dan dapat menyebabkan tumbuhan tersebut terserang penyakit yaitu penyakit kanker bercak yang disebut dengan P. palmivora. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh P. palmivora terhadap nilai SPAD-502, kandungan klorofil, nitrogen serta laju fotosintesis. Penelitian ini menggunakan parameter pengukuran kandungan klorofil dengan menggunakan alat SPAD-502. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa P. palmivora dapat menghambat dan menurunkan kandungan total klorofil, nitrogen daun dan laju fotosintesis. Dimana berdasarkan letak percabangan primer, sekunder dan tersier pengaruh yang sangat besar yaitu pada durian (D. zibethinus Murr.) varietas Kanae, hal itu dapat dipengaruhi oleh umur dan letak pola percabangan. ==================================================================================================================================
Durian fruit is a plant for tropical exotic that has a unique taste and aroma. Chlorophyll and nitrogen are important substance needed by plants. Chlorophyll content with a minimal amount can inhibit plants and can cause plants attacked by this disease, namely cancerous spots which is commonly called P. palmivora. The purpose of this study is to look for the relationship between P. palmivora with SPAD-502, chlorophyll content, nitrogen also need photosynthesis rate in two varieties of durian trees. The study usedparameters containing measurements of chlorophyll content by using SPAD-502. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be conclude that P. palmivora based on the location of the primary branching, secondary and tertiary are very large in durian (D. zibethinus Murr.) Kanae varieties that can be related by age and location of branching patterns.
