Abstract

Kelapa sawit merupakan salah satu komoditi utama yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Dan merupakan industri hulu yang sangat penting bagi berbagai industri lainnya, seperti: makanan, kosmetik, sabun, dan cat. Kondisi ini memacu perkembangan industri pengolahan kelapa sawit baik kebutuhan dalam negeri maupun ekspor. Lokasi pabrik akan dibangun di daerah Limbung Lubuk Mengkuang, Kabupaten Bungo, Jambi dengan pertimbangan ketersediaan bahan baku utama berupa kelapa sawit yang mudah diperoleh di Sumatera. Kapasitas produksi Olein direncanakan sebesar 92.070 ton/tahun. Perencanaan ini berdasarkan jumlah lahan yang dimiliki oleh pabrik dan jumlah raw material yang tersedia untuk produksi. Untuk memenuhi kapasitas tahunan, pabrik akan beroperasi kontinyu 24 jam per hari selama 330 hari. Untuk memproduksi Olein sebesar 92.070 ton/tahun diperlukan bahan baku kelapa sawit sebesar 415.305 ton Tandan Buah Segar/tahun. Selain produk utama Olein, pabrik ini juga dapat menghasilkan produk berupa Stearin sebanyak 3.875 kg/tahun dan Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) sebanyak 6.475 ton/tahun yang dapat diolah menjadi biodiesel. Selain itu juga menghasilkan nut sebanyak 35.526 ton/tahun. Proses pembuatan minyak kelapa sawit (CPO) dapat diuraikan menjadi 5 tahapan proses utama, yaitu proses penerimaan buah, sterilisasi, penebahan, pengepresan, dan pemurnian. Sedangkan proses pembuatan minyak goreng dari CPO terdapat 2 proses utama, yaitu refinery dan fraksinasi. Dari perhitungan analisa ekonomi diperoleh IRR sebesar 30,5% dengan suku bunga 9,75%, BEP sebesar 32,83%, dan waktu pengembalian modal selama 3,98 tahun. Modal untuk pendirian pabrik menggunakan rasio 60% modal sendiri dan 40% modal pinjaman. Modal total yang dibutuhkan untuk mendirikan pabrik sebesar Rp. 723.570.162.028 ================================================================================================================== Palmfruit is one of the main commodities which affects Indonesia's economic growth. Palm oil industry is a very important upstream industry for other industries, such as: food, cosmetic, soap, and paint industry. This condition spurs the development of palm oil industry, both for domestic and export needs. The plant will be built in Limbur Lubuk Mengkuang, Bungo district, Jambi by considering the availability of palm fruit as the main raw materialwhich grows a lot in Sumatera. Capacity of palm oil (olein) planned for 92,070 ton/year. This planning based on the avalability of land and raw material for production. To meet the annual capacity, plant will operate continously 24 hours per day for 330 days. To produce 92,070 ton/year olein, 415,305 ton/year FFB of palm fruit is needed. Besides olein as main product, this plant also produces stearin 3,875 kg/year and Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) 6,475 ton/year which can be processed into biodiesel. From this plant also obtained by-products of 35,256 ton nuts per year. The process of making crude palm oil can be described into 5 main stages, FFB reception station, sterilizer station, threshing station, pressing station, and clarification station. The process of making olein from crude palm oil divided into 2 main stages, refinery and fractionation. From economic analytical calculation, obtained the IRR 30.5% with interest rate 9.75%, Break Event Point (BEP) 32.83%, and payback period for 3.98 year. Capital of plant construction using ratio 60% of own capital and 40% of loan capital. The total capital investment required to set up the plant is Rp. 723,570,162,028
