Abstract
Penelitian ini mempelajari biodekolorisasi pewarna metilen biru (MB) oleh jamur pelapuk coklat Daedalea dickinsii (DD) yang terimobilisasi dalam matriks polivinil alkohol (PVA) - sodium alginate (SA) - metal organic framework (MOF) UiO-66. Sistem imobilisasi PVA/SA/UiO-66/DD dibuat dengan variasi berat UiO-66: 0, 60, 120 dan 180 mg. Material UiO-66 disintesis dalam pelarut dimetilformamida (DMF) dengan metode solvotermal pada suhu 120 °C selama 24 jam. Hasil difraktogram XRD menunjukkan keberhasilan sintesis UiO-66 dengan puncak
karakteristik 2θ = 7,19°, 8,33° dan 25,52° yang sesuai dengan standar. Pengujian kinerja biodekolorisasi MB menunjukkan keunggulan beads PVA/SA/UiO-66/DD dalam penghilangan MB dengan prosen (%) dan kapasitas (Qt) biodekolorisasi yang lebih tinggi daripada PVA/SA dan PVA/SA/UiO-66. Kondisi optimal pada proses biodekolorisasi MB oleh beads PVA/SA/UiO-66/DD diperoleh dengan penambahan 60 mg UiO-66, dengan berat beads 3 g yang diinkubasi selama 72 jam. Kinetika biodekolorisasi yang terjadi pada beads PVA/SA/UiO-66/DD mengikuti model orde dua semu. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa D. dickinsii yang terimobilisasi pada PVA-SA yang didukung oleh UiO-66 dapat digunakan sebagai kandidat baru untuk dekolorisasi MB yang efektif.

This research investigated the biodecolorization of methylene blue (MB) dyes by brown-rot fungus Daedalea dickinsii (DD) immobilized in matrix of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) - sodium alginate (SA) - metal organic framework (MOF) UiO-66. The PVA/SA/UiO-66/DD immobilization system was made with variations in weight of UiO-66: 0, 60, 120 and 180 mg. UiO-66 material was synthesized in dimethylformamide (DMF) solvent by solvothermal method at 120 °C for 24 hours. The XRD diffractogram results showed successful synthesis of UiO-66 with characteristic peaks of 2θ = 7.19°, 8.33° and 25.52° in accordance with the standard. The MB biodecolorization performance test showed the superiority of PVA/SA/UiO-66/DD beads in removing MB with a higher percentage (%) and biodecolorization capacity (Qt) than PVA/SA and PVA/SA/UiO-66. Optimal conditions in the MB biodecolorization process by PVA/SA/UiO-66/DD beads was obtained by adding 60 mg of UiO-66, with a weight of 3 g beads incubated for 72 hours. Biodecolorization kinetics that occur in PVA/SA/UiO-66/DD beads followed a pseudo second-order model. These results indicated that immobilized D. dickinsii in PVA-SA supported by UiO-66 can be used as a new candidate for effective MB decolorization.
