Abstract

PT. XYZ adalah pabrik yang memproduksi permen jahe. Departemen Engineering pada PT. XYZ mengolah permintaan perbaikan yang menghasilkan dokumen laporan perbaikan mesin produksi. Dokumen tersebut menghimpun informasi dari tiga formulir, yaitu pengajuan perbaikan, laporan perbaikan, dan verifikasi kebersihan. Informasi pada masing-masing formulir dihimpun melalui Google Form. Berdasarkan proses penghimpunan data yang dilakukan dengan cara yang ada, ditemukan kondisi: kerentanan kesalahan dalam memasukkan Nomor Work Order saat membuat pengajuan perbaikan, data yang tidak konsisten, adanya kesulitan pembaruan formulir, serta tidak dapat dilakukan pelacakan kondisi proses terkini. Keempat kondisi tersebut disebabkan beberapa aktivitas administrasi dilakukan secara manual.
Tujuan tugas akhir adalah melakukan otomatisasi proses bisnis perbaikan mesin produksi pada PT. XYZ. Otomatisasi dilakukan dengan pendekatan proses menggunakan perangkat lunak WFMS (Workflow Management System) berupa ProcessMaker. Pendekatan ini penting dalam rangka melakukan penemuan proses untuk memodelkan task manual yang akan diotomatisasi.
Otomatisasi ini dilakukan dalam lima tahap, yaitu: identifikasi batasan otomatisasi, meninjau manual task, melengkapi model proses, membawa model proses ke tingkat granularitas yang memadai, dan menentukan properti eksekusi. Hasil otomatisasi kemudian diuji dengan mengalirkan case dan meminta umpan balik pengguna akhir.
Luaran dari tugas akhir ini adalah sistem proses bisnis terotomatisasi berbasis web, dengan fitur formulir yang terintegrasi, isian nomor dokumen dan istilah bisnis yang konsisten, isian yang didukung database, dan fitur pelacakan case. Pengujian pendefinisian proses menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mengalirkan case pada semua task pada pemodelan proses bisnis perbaikan mesin produksi.

PT. XYZ is a factory that produces ginger candy. Engineering Department at PT. XYZ processes repair requests that produce production machine repair report documents. The document collects information from three forms, namely submission of repairs, improvement reports, and verification of cleanliness. Information on each form is collected through Google Forms. Based on the data collection process carried out in an existing way, conditions were found: error vulnerability in entering the Work Order Number when making corrections, inconsistent data, difficulties in form updating, and tracking of current process conditions cannot be carried out. These four conditions are due to some administrative activities carried out manually.
This final project aims to carry out automation of the production machine repair business process is carried out at PT. XYZ by using ProcessMaker. Automation is carried out with a process approach using WFMS (Workflow Management System) software in the form of ProcessMaker. This approach is important in order to make process discoveries to model manual tasks that will be automated.
This automation is carried out in five stages, namely: identification of automation boundaries, reviewing task manuals, completing the process model, bringing the process model to an adequate level of granularity, and determining execution properties. The results of the automation are then tested by streaming the case and asking for end-user feedback.
The output of this final project is a web-based automated business process system, with integrated form features, document number entries, and consistent business terms, database-supported fields, and case tracking features. The process definition test shows that the system successfully streamed cases to all tasks in the modeling of the production machine repair business process.
