Abstract

Nyamplung (Calophyllum inophyllum) merupakan spesies tanaman mangrove dari famili Calophyllaceae. Diantara minyak biji mangrove, biji nyamplung memiliki kandungan minyak yang tinggi sebesar 40-73% . Kandungan Oleic Fatty Acid (C18:1) pada minyak nyamplung sangat berpotensi untuk produksi minyak goreng (diet oil) dengan harga jual yang tinggi. Adanya tren penggunaan diet oil sebagai minyak goreng akan membuat minyak goreng dari biji nyamplung mampu bersaing dengan minyak goreng lainnya. Selama ini diet oil yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat berbahan baku minyak zaitun. Berdasarkan data dari badan pusat statistik, impor minyak zaitun mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya sehingga diproyeksikan impor minyak zaitun pada tahun 2023 sebesar 5.295 ton. Pabrik yang akan didirikan beroperasi secara semi-kontinyu menggunakan proses dengan metode kombinasi Microwave Assisted Extraction dan Batchwise Solvent Extraction karena memiliki beberapa kelebihan yaitu waktu proses yang singkat, biaya operasi yang tidak terlalu mahal dan kemurnian minyak yang dihasilkan tinggi. Produk dari pra-desain pabrik ini berupa minyak goreng sehat dalam kemasan. Perusahaan akan berbentuk perseroan terbatas dengan sistem organisasi lini dan staff. Dari Analisa perhitungan ekonomi diperlukan total modal investasi sebesar Rp 59.124.282.561 dengan Internal Rate of Return (IRR) diperoleh sebesar 29%, Payout Time (POT) selama 3,44 tahun dan Break Event Point (BEP) sebesar 44,39%.

Nyamplung (Calophyllum inophyllum) is a species of mangrove plant from the Calophyllaceae family. Among mangrove seed oils, nyamplung seeds have a high oil content of 40-73%. The content of Oleic Fatty Acid (C18: 1) in nyamplung oil has the potential to produce cooking oil (diet oil) at a high selling price. The trend of using diet oil as cooking oil will make cooking oil from nyamplung seeds able to compete with other cooking oils. So far, the diet oil consumed by the community is made from olive oil. Based on data from the central statistics agency, olive oil imports have increased every year so that it is projected that olive oil imports in 2023 will be 5,295 tonnes. The factory to be established operates semi-continuously using a process with a combination method of Microwave Assisted Extraction and Batchwise Solvent Extraction because it has several advantages, namely short processing time, inexpensive operating costs and high purity of the oil produced. The product from this factory pre-design is in the form of packaged healthy cooking oil. The company will be in the form of a limited liability company with a line and staff organizational system. From the analysis of economic calculations required total investment capital of Rp. 59,124,282,561 with an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) obtained at 29%, Payout Time (POT) for 3.44 years and Break Event Point (BEP) of 44.39%.
