Abstract

Berbagai pelabuhan di dunia umumnya mengalami masalah sedimentasi yang akhirnya berpengaruh pada alur pelayaran. Pelabuhan Sampit merupakan salah satu pelabuhan strategis di Kalimantan Tengah, yang mengalami sedimentasi. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk melakukan Analisa Pengerukan Alur Pelabuhan Kelas III KSOP Sampit, Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sedimentasi disekitar alur pelayara,n menentukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sedimentasi di alur pelayaran dan menentukan solusi yang harus dilakukan agar alur pelayaran Pelabuhan tetap berfungsi dan aman. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dari PT Samudera Atlantis International berupa data survey hidrografi meliputi pasang surut,TSS dan TDS, kekeruhan, kecepatan arus, sedimen dasar dan bathimetrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tipe pasang surut campuran dengan tunggang pasang berkisar 247,74-264,68 cm, kecepatan arus berkisar 0,17-0,38 m/dt, TSS berkisar 30,67 mg/L-128,27 mg/L, dengan tanah lempung, lanau dan pasir. Telah terjadi sedimentasi dan pendangkalan di sekitar alur pelayaran Teluk Sampit, dan oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pengerukan. Pengerukan yang dilakukan adalah pengerukan hidrolik dengan Cutter Suction Dredger.

Sedimentation is one of main issues in ports in general and it may causes problem in navigation channels. To understand the sedimentation around the in the navigation channels 3rd class harbor KSOP, Sampit, Kalimantan Tengah, a study on Dredging analysis of the port channel in the 3rd class harbor KSOP Sampit, Central Kalimantan was conducted. This study was also aimed to understand the factors that affect the sedimentation and also solutions needed to solve that problem. Data collected were the secondary data originated from the PT Samudera Atlantis International, namely tide, TSS, Turbidity, current velocity, bottom sediment and bathymetric and soil investigation. Results shown that the tidal type was mixed tide with tidal range ranged from 247.74 to 264.68 cm, current velocity 0.17 - 0.38 m/second, TSS 30.67 mg/L - 128.27 mg/L, Turbidity 26.0-51.7 NTU and bottom sediment consist of clay and silt. There was sedimentation and silting in the navigation channels of the Teluk Sampit Harbor and thus dredging is needed. The dredging method recommended is a hydraulic dredging using a Cutter Suction Dredger
