Abstract
Bozem Morokrembagan merupakan salah satu bozem terluas di Surabaya dengan luas wilayah ± 78,69 Ha yang diperuntukkan sebagai pengendali banjir Kota Surabaya. Akan tetapi, kondisi Bozem Morokrembangan mengalami penurunan mutu air akibat masuknya beban pencemar yang berasal dari limbah buangan yang terbawa saluran – saluran drainase yang masuk kedalam Bozem Morokrembangan. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk membantu pemerintah Kota Surabaya dalam mengembalikan fungsi Bozem Morokrembangan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status mutu air Bozem Morokrembangan adalah tercemar sedang dengan beban pencemaran tertinggi berasal dari Kali Purwodadi dengan konsentrasi beban pencemar COD 28,283 mg/L, BOD5 7,491 mg/L, Ammnoia 6,18 mg/L, dan konsentrasi Total Phosfat 6,18 mg/L. Total beban pencemaran yang masuk kedalam Bozem berasal dari pemukiman rata – rata sebesar 99,87 Ton/tahun dan industri rata – rata sebesar 0,0028 Ton/tahun dengan total beban limbah berdasarkan simulasi model sub dinamik rata – rata sebesar 26.923 Ton/tahun.
Upaya pengelolaan dapat dilakukan menggunakan skenario optimistik dengan membangun IPAL komunal pada kelurahan yang belum memiliki IPAL serta menerapkan program 3R untuk mereduksi limbah padat (sampah), melakukan upaya pengelolaan lahan ramah lingkungan dan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat.

Bozem Morokrembangan is one of the largest bozem in Surabaya with an area of ± 78,69 Ha which is designated as a flood controller in the city of Surabaya. However, the condition of Bozem Morokrembangan experienced a decrease in water quality due to the inclusion of pollutant loads originating from waste discharges carried by the drainage channels entering Bozem Morokrembangan.The research can be useful for Surabaya Goverment to return the fungtion of Bozem Morokrembangan.
The results showed that the water quality status of Bozem Morokrembangan was moderately polluted with the highest pollution load coming from Kali Purwodadi with COD pollutant concentration 28,283 mg/L, BOD5 7,491 mg/L, Ammnoia 6,18 mg/L, and Total Phosphate concentration of 6,18 mg/L.The total pollution load that enters the Bozem comes from settlements averaging 99.87 Tons/year and industry averages 0.0028 Ton/ year with a total waste load based on sub-dynamic simulation models an average of 26,923 Tons/year.
Management efforts can be carried out using an optimistic scenario by building a communal WWTP in the kelurahan in Krembangan District that does not yet have an WWTP and implementing a 3R program to reduce solid waste (garbage),make efforts to manage environmentally friendly land, and increasing community participation.
