Abstract

Fish auction hall in Lekok Port is located in lekok, Pasuruan. The fisheries potential in these area has not been utilized optimally. The improvement of fishing activities may impacts on the environment around, such as worst air pollution, higher energy used, fish waste management and also the thermal comfort, so a concept of environmental management with sustainable architecture approach especially for fish auction hall in fishing port is required. Overfishing is the removal of a species of fish from a body of water at a rate that the species cannot replenish in time, resulting in those species either becoming depleted or very underpopulated in that given area. Overfishing has spread all over the globe and has been present for centuries. The answer to that issue is to use an aquaculture system. Aquaculture, also known as aquafarming, is the farming of fish, crustaceans, molluscs, aquatic plants, algae, and other organisms. Aquaculture involves cultivating freshwater and saltwater populations under controlled conditions, and can be contrasted with commercial fishing, which is the harvesting of wild fish.
