Abstract

Kebutuhan air bersih sangat penting bagi semua makhluk hidup, namun saat ini telah terjadi fenomena kelangkaan air bersih karena tidak meratanya pelayanan air bersih kepada masyarakat. Salah satu daerah yang belum terlayani air bersih adalah zona pelayanan Kabupaten Gresik wilayah utara. Daerah Kabupaten Gresik yang belum terlayani air bersih meliputi Kecamatan Panceng, Kecamatan Ujung Pangkah, Kecamatan Sidayu, Kecamatan Dukun dan Kecamatan Bungah. Sesuai target nasional PDAM Kabupaten Gresik yaitu sebesar 80 % masyarakatnya terpenuhi air bersihnya sehingga diperlukan perencanaan instalasi pengolahan air minum (IPAM) yang akan melayani kelima kecamatan tersebut. Air bersih yang digunakan harus sesuai Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomer 492/MENKES/PERIV/2010 tentang Persyaratan Kualitas Air Minum. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pengembangan baru instalasi pengolahan air minum (IPAM) untuk peningkatan kapasitas pelayanan air bersih. Pada perencanaan IPAM ini air baku berasal dari Bendung Gerak Sembayat yang terletak di Sungai Bengawan Solo bagian hilir. Perencanaan IPAM akan dibagi menjadi 2 tahap pembangunan dengan kapasitas 1000 L/detik, sehingga setiap IPAM memiliki kapasitas 500 L/detik. Unit pengolahan yang akan digunakan yaitu unit intake, unit prasedimentasi, unit koagulasi, unit flokulasi, unit sedimentasi, unit filtrasi, desinfeksi, reservoir dan unit pengolahan lumpur. Pada unit intake, terdiri dari saluran terbuka, pipa pembawa, pipa pembagi, barscreen, sumur pengumpul dengan dilengkapi pompa submersible untuk memompakan air baku menuju unit prasedimentasi. Unit koagulasi yang digunakan adalah koagulasi hidrolis yang memakai tawas sebagai koagulan dengan dosis 75 mg/L. Unit flokulasi dirancang sistem hidrolis dengan enam kompartemen berbentuk segi heksagonal. Pada unit sedimenasi digunakan plate settler di zona pengendapan. Unit filtrasi yang digunakan adalah filtrasi pasir cepat dengan jenis media pasir silika dan antrasit. Desinfektan yang digunakan adalah gas klor yang langsung dibubuhkan ke dalam unit reservoir. Berdasarkan perhitungan, pembangunan IPAM akan membutuhkan biaya sebesar Rp. 13.394.635.415. ========================================================================================== The need for clean water is very important for all living things, but currently there has been a phenomenon of scarcity of clean water due to uneven distribution of clean water services to the community. One area that has not been served by clean water is the service zone of Gresik Regency in the north. The regions of Gresik Regency that have not been served with clean water include Panceng District, Ujung Pangkah District, Sidayu District, Dukun District and Bungah District. In line with the national target of the PDAM Gresik Regency, 80% of its people have been met with clean water, so planning for a drinking water treatment plant (IPAM) is needed that will serve the five districts. Clean water used must comply with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492/MENKES/PERIV/ 2010 concerning Drinking Water Quality Requirements. Therefore it is necessary to develop a new drinking water treatment plant (IPAM) to increase the capacity of clean water services. In this water treatment planning, raw water comes from Gerak Sembayat Dam located on the downstream Bengawan Solo River. Water treatment planning will be divided into 2 stages of development with a capacity of 1000 L/sec, so that each water treatment plant has a capacity of 500 L/sec. The processing units to be used are the intake unit, pre-sedimentation unit, coagulation unit, flocculation unit, sedimentation unit, filtration unit, disinfection, reservoir and sludge treatment unit. At the intake unit, consisting of open channels, carrier pipes, dividing pipes, bar screens, collecting wells equipped with submersible pumps to pump raw water to the pre-sedimentation unit. The coagulation unit used is hydraulic coagulation which uses alum as a coagulant at a dose of 75 mg/L. The flocculation unit is designed by a hydraulic system with six hexagonal shaped compartments. In the sedimentation unit plate settlers are used in the deposition zone. The filtration unit used is fast sand filtration with silica and anthracite sand media types. The disinfectant used is chlorine gas which is directly applied to the reservoir unit. Based on calculation, construction of water treatment plant is Rp. 13.394.635.415.
