Abstract

Permasalahan terkait aspek teknis edukatif pada Taman Kanak-Kanak berkaitan dengan ketidaklayakan bangunan yang menjadi wadah aktivitas kegiatan belajar anak-anak. Melalui pendekatan arsitektur perilaku yang mempelajari pola perilaku dan karakteristik, baik secara fisik maupun psikis, maka diharapkan akan tercipta sebuah wadah edukatif berupa Taman Kanak-Kanak yang mampu mewadahi aktivitas, adaptive terhadap users dan membantu mengoptimalkan proses tumbuh kembang pada anak.
Dalam prosesnya, menerapkan framework force based method yang menempatkan users dan aktivitas sebagai force utama. Atribut force tersebut menjadi pengaruh terhadap usulan desain yang berkaitan dengan aspek arsitektural.
Konsep desain bangunan Taman Kanak-Kanak sangat berhubungan dengan skala elemen pembentuk ruang, bentuk bangunan, dan penggunaan warna dan material pada bangunan yang harus menyesuaikan dari sudut pandang anak-anak. Selain itu, terdapat fasad, sistem penghawaan, dan pencahayaan, penggunaan warna dan material pada bangunan yang disesuaikan terhadap kebutuhan anak dan kondisi lingkungan sekitar.

Some problems regarding to educational technical aspects in kindergartens are related to the inadequacy of buildings, which is the place for children's learning activities. Through behavioral architecture approach about behavioral patterns and characteristics of children, both physically and psychologically, this final project proposes design of a kindergarten that is able to accommodate activities, adaptive to users and helps to optimize the growth and children's development process.
In the process, force based method framework is putting users and activities as the main force. The force attributes become the main influence on the architectural aspects of design proposal.
The design concept of a kindergarten building is related to the scale of the space, building space, and the use of colors and materials in building that fits children's perspective. In addition, facades, ventilation, and lighting systems are suited to the needs of children and their surroundings.
