Abstract
Usaha perhotelan berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan sektor pariwisata dan bisnis. Di kota besar seperti Bandung, industri hotel bersaing ketat. Hal ini terjadi karena bisnis dan pariwisata di Bandung berkembang sangat pesat dan cukup memikat banyak wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara. Persaingan hotel yang semakin tinggi berimbas pada turunnya okupansi hotel di Bandung.
Salah satu hotel yang terkena dampak dari persaingan hotel di kota Bandung namun tetap beroperasi hingga saat ini adalah Hotel Taman Melati Jatinangor. Hotel ini dulunya
adalah Apartemen Taman Melati Jatinangor yang tidak mampu menjual seluruh unit apartemen tersebut. Ada sekitar kurang lebih 100 unit apartemen yang tidak terjual. Oleh karena itu, dari pihak Adhi Persada Properti ini melakukan tindakan yaitu merubah Apartemen menjadi Hotel Taman Melati Jatinangor. Hotel Taman Melati Jatinangor merupakan hotel bintang tiga yang berdiri sejak tahun 2017. Latar belakang yang membuat hotel ini masih beroperasi hingga saat ini selain karena lokasi hotel yang sangat strategis, loyalitas dari peminat hotel ini juga sangat tinggi.
Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, pihak Adhi Persada Properti harus melakukan perubahan dengan menerapkan strategi yang dapat menarik pelanggan baru maupun mempertahankan loyalitas pelanggan lama, seperti memperbarui desain interior hotel dengan cara memasukan khas dari Jawa Barat. Tak lupa juga pihak dari Adhi Persada Properti juga menambah fasilitas bangunan Apartemen tersebut agar dapat diubah menjadi Hotel. Selain itu, pihak Adhi Persada property juga harus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan sehingga pelanggan dapat menikmati suasana yang diciptakan serta menjadi betah berlama – lama untuk menginap dan dapat meningkatkan sisi komersial hotel.
Berdasarkan latar belakang yang telah disebutkan, konsep yang akan diterapkan pada interior Hotel Taman Melati Jatinangor adalah modern, natural dengan nuansa Jawa Barat. Konsep ini kemudian dikembangkan dengan menerapkan kesan modern dalam interior hotel dan tambahan hiasan pepohonan agar terciptanya natural dengan memberikan sebuah aksen
berupa nuansa Jawa Barat kecil yang didapatkan melalui penggunaan furniture dan elemen estetis lainnya. Selain itu, budaya Jawa Barat yang akan diangkat adalah Ukiran dan batik khas dari Jawa Barat pada interior hotel, hal ini dikarenakan kurang populernya Ukiran dan batik tersebut di kalangan masyarakat khususnya generasi muda sehingga diperlukan pengemasan yang lebih menarik untuk mempopulerkannya kembali.

Based on the background mentioned, the concept of to be applied on the interior of Taman Melati Jatinangor Hotel is modern , natural with the shades of west java .This concept and then develop it by applying the impression in the interior of modern hotel and in the supplement to
an ornament the trees so that the creation of natural by giving a accent in the form of small west java shades or through the use of furniture and other aesthetically element. In addition , west java culture will is engraving and batik design from west java on the interior of Hotel, it
was because the less populer carving and the batik is in the community especially the younger generation that they need packaging costs that is more attractive to make it popular back .
