Abstract
Sejak tahun 2019, ada 7 unit Bus sekolah yang beroperasi di beberapa titik Surabaya yaitu, Surabaya selatan, Timur, Utara, dan Barat untuk melayani perjalanan warga kota Surabaya ke sekolah. Selain itu, untuk mengurangi jumlah Siswa pengguna kendaraan pribadi ke Sekolah.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kinerja dan pelayanan Bus sekolah, tingkat kepuasan Siswa, dan pengaruh karakteristik sosio demografi terhadap penggunaan Bus sekolah Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua cara, yaitu survey kuesioner dan wawancara.
Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan 5 metode, yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan perhitungan standar pelayanan kendaraan umum, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), analisis statistik deskriptif dengan program SPSS 23.0 untuk mengetahui distribusi frekuensi, Uji Friedman, dan Regresi Logistic Biner. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terdapat penilaian pelayanan bus Bus sekolah Surabaya yang masih “kurang” yaitu jumlah kendaraan dengan penilaian 70%, Frekuensi Kendaraan dengan nilai 0,03 ˂ 4, Masih ada Bus yang nilai Load factornya di atas 80%, sehingga perlu penambahan armada untuk memberikan kenyamanan pelayanan terhadap Siswa/siswi di Surabaya. Pada tingkat kepuasan, ada 5 atribut dianggap penting dan perlu ditingkatkan kinerjanya diantaranya kenyamanan penumpang, kemudahan mendapat tempat duduk, kelengkapan P3K, Kelengkapan alat keselamatan, kondisi bangku. Dari hasil analisis karakteristik sosiodemografi dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif frequency terdapat jumlah terbanyak sebesar 27,4% jarak rumah siswa ˃ 5 km dan sebesar 70,3 % siswa diantar dengan motor menuju ke halte atau tempat menunggu bus Sekolah. Hasil analisis Regresi Logistic Biner, terdapat pengaruh sosio demografi terhadap penggunaan Bus sekolah saat pulang dengan nilai pada classification table sebesar 81,1%. Berdasarkan hasil model persamaan dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa, semakin muda usia Siswa yang tidak memiliki SIM dan penghasilan orang tua semakin kecil, semakin tinggi probabilitas Siswa yang naik Bus sekolah dengan probabilitas 91,3%. Sedangkan, hasil uji Friedman, rangking pertama preferensi Responden terhadap Bus sekolah adalah keamanan dan keselamatan dengan nilai terbesar 4,08%.

Since 2019, there have been 7 school bus units operating at several points in Surabaya, namely, South, East, North, and West Surabaya to serve the trips of Surabaya city residents to school. Also, to reduce the number of students using private vehicles to the school.
This study aims to measure the performance and service of school buses, student satisfaction levels, and the influence of socio-demographic characteristics on the use of school buses in Surabaya. Collecting data in this study using two ways, namely survey questionnaires and interviews.
The data were analyzed using 5 methods, namely descriptive analysis with the calculation of public transportation service standards, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), descriptive statistical analysis using the SPSS 23.0 program to determine the frequency distribution, Friedman Test, and Binary Logistic Regression. Based on the results of the analysis, there is an assessment of the Surabaya school buses service which is still "lacking", namely the number of vehicles with an assessment of 70%, Vehicle Frequency with a value of 0.03 and 4, There are still buses whose load factor values are above 80%, so it is necessary to add more fleets. to provide comfortable services to male or female students in Surabaya. At the level of satisfaction, 5 attributes are considered important and their performance needs to be improved, ease of getting a comfort seat, first aid kit, completeness safety equipment, bench conditions. From the results of the analysis of sociodemographic characteristics using descriptive statistics, the largest number was 27.4%, the distance of the student's house ˃ 5 km, and 70.3% of the students were driven by motorbike to the bus stop or place to wait for the school bus. The results of the Binary Logistic Regression analysis, there is a socio-demographic influence on the use of school buses when returning home with a value on the classification table of 81.1%. Based on the results of the equation model it can be interpreted that, the younger the age of students who do not have a SIM and the smaller their parents' income, the higher the probability of students riding the school bus with a probability of 91.3%. Meanwhile, the results of the Friedman test, the first ranking Respondents' preference for school buses is security and safety with the greatest value of 4.08%.
