Abstract

Conveyor system merupakan salah satu proses bisnis pada PLTU Tenayan Raya. Perusahaan menerapkan perawatan pada konveyor dengan metode corrective maintenance. Metode perawatan ini kurang efektif karena dapat menyebabkan operasi pada pembangkit secara keseluruhan berhenti. Menurut data riwayat kerusakan, terdapat 71 kali gangguan pada conveyor system PLTU Tenayan selama 3 tahun terakhir. Hal ini menyebabkan tingginya kegiatan corrective maintenance yang dapat menyebabkan biaya perawatan, downtime, dan risiko kerugian yang lainnya semakin besar. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Risk Based Maintenance (RBM) dan Reliability Centered Maintenance II untuk merancang aktivitas perawatan preventive pada mesin konveyor batu bara. Langkah yang dilakukan adalah analisis risiko maintenance pada RBM, analisis FMEA, evaluasi mode kegagalan dengan RCM II Decision diagram, dan menentukan aktivitas serta kalender perawatan. Hasil RBM menunjukkan bahwa 3 dari 8 komponen memiliki nilai risiko di atas 5% yaitu komponen belt (6%), pulley (30%), dan motor (6%). Ketiga komponen tersebut dilanjutkan ke tahap evaluasi jadwal perawatan dengan metode RCM II. Dari hasil analisis RCM II menunjukkan ketiga komponen tersebut mendapat preventive maintenance antara lain: 1) Scheduled restoration task untuk komponen belt sekali dalam 8 hari. 2) Finding failure task untuk komponen pulley sekali dalam 47 hari, dan 3) On-condition task untuk komponen motor sekali dalam 0,5 tahun. Kegiatan perawatan tersebut dirancang menjadi kalender perawatan berdasarkan perhitungan interval waktu perawatan tiap komponen untuk kurun waktu 1 tahun dari Januari hingga Desember 2020.

The conveyor system is one of the part of business processes at the PLTU Tenayan Raya. Recently, the company applies conveyor maintenance with corrective maintenance methods. This existing method is less effective because it can cause operations on development to completely stop. There have 71 failure reports in the PLTU Tenayan Raya plant conveyor system over the past 3 years. Corrective improvements that cause maintenance costs, downtime, and the risk of loss is even greater. This research uses Risk Based Maintenance (RBM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance II methods for meeting preventive maintenance activities on coal conveyor machines. The steps taken are maintenance risk analysis on RBM, FMEA analysis, evaluation of failure mode with RCM II decision diagram, and then determining activity and maintenance calendar. The RBM result shows 3 out of 8 components have a risk value above 5%, such as the belt component (6%), pulley (30%), and motor (6%). The three components are moved to the maintenance schedule evaluation stage using the RCM II method. The results of the RCM II analysis shows that the three components received preventive maintenance: 1) Scheduled restoration task for the belt component once in 8 days. 2) Finding failure task for pulley component once every 47 days, and 3) On-condition task for motor component once every 0.5 years. The maintenance activity is designed to be a maintenance calendar based on the calculation of maintenance time intervals for each component for a period of 1 year from January to December 2020.
