Abstract

Jakarta sebagai pusat perekonomian di Indonesia sudah membangun jalur pedestrian di beberapa ruas jalan. Salah satunya adalah jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Senen yang direncanakan untuk mengembangkan konsep TOD (Transit Oriented Development). Namun, hal tersebut tidak dibarengi dengan peningkatan kualitas kenyamanan jalur pedestrian yang sesuai dengan keinginan pejalan kaki. Kualitas kenyamanan jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Senen yang sesuai dengan preferensi atau keinginan dari pejalan kaki diperlukan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam perencanaan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas dengan kepentingan tingkat kenyamanan jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Senen.
Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi Kendall tau-b untuk melihat hubungan antara kualitas dan kepentingan dari variabel kenyamanan jalur pedestrian di Kawasan Senen yang dibagi menjadi 2 koridor. 100 pejalan kaki yang diminta untuk menilai kualitas dan kepentingan variabel dengan menggunakan skala likert 1-5.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa hampir seluruh kualitas dan kepentingan kenyamanan jalur pedestrian pada koridor 1 tidak berhubungan atau tidak sesuai dengan keinginan pejalan kaki atau memiliki nilai korelasi lebih dari 0,05. Sedangkan, pada koridor 2 sebagian besar kualitas dan kepentingan kenyamanan jalur pedestrian sudah memiliki hubungan atau memiliki nilai korelasi kurang dari 0,05, diantaranya variabel material penyusun, elemen pendukung, keindahan, hambatan, fasilitas penyandang disabilitas, kebisingan, dan aksesibilitas. Sebagian lagi tidak berkorelasi atau tidak terdapat hubungan antar keduanya, yaitu variabel iklim (peneduhan), keamanan, kebersihan, jalur penyeberangan, aroma, dan dimensi. Hal tersebut menggambarkan bahwa sebagian kualitas kenyamanan jalur pedestrian di koridor 2 masih belum memenuhi keinginan pejalan kaki. Maka, diperlukan pengembangan yang lebih baik pada variabel kenyamanan jalur pedestrian yang masih belum memenuhi keinginan pejalan kaki.

Jakarta as the economic center in Indonesia has built pedestrian paths on several roads. One of them is the pedestrian path in the Senen Zone which is planned to develop the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) concept. However, this is not accompanied by an increase in the comfort quality the pedestrian path by the preference of pedestrians. The quality of the pedestrian path comfort in the Senen area based on the preferences or desires of pedestrians is needed to be explored consideration in planning. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between quality and the importance of the comfort level of the pedestrian path in the Senen area.
This study uses the Kendall tau-b correlation analysis to see the relationship between the quality and importance of the pedestrian path comfort variable in the Senen area which is divided into 2 corridors. 100 pedestrians were asked to rate the quality and importance of variables using a Likert scale of 1-5.
The results of this study found that almost all the quality and importance of pedestrian lane comfort in corridor 1 are not related or not by the wishes of pedestrians or have a correlation value of more than 0.05. Meanwhile, in corridor 2, most of the quality and importance of pedestrian path comfort have a relationship or have a correlation value of less than 0.05, including the constituent material variables, supporting elements, beauty, obstacles, disabled facilities, noise, and accessibility. Some are not correlated or there is no relationship between the two, namely the climate variable (shade), safety, cleanliness, crossing paths, smell, and dimensions. This illustrates that some of the quality of the comfort of the pedestrian path in corridor 2 still does not meet the wishes of pedestrians. Thus, better development is needed in the pedestrian lane comfort variable that still does not meet the pedestrian wishes.
