Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis reliability sistem dalam bentuk fungsi reliability pada Unit Utilitas Batu Bara (UBB) PT Petrokimia Gresik yang memproduksi tenaga listrik dan uap. Sistem UBB yang dianalisis terdiri atas lima subsistem seri dan masing-masing subsistem terdiri dari beberapa mesin dengan struktur yang berbeda-beda, yaitu seri, paralel, dan k-out-of-N. Setiap struktur pada masing-masing hierarki dimodelkan menggunakan reliability block diagram. Perhitungan fungsi reliability dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan phase-type distribution. Trace based fitting dilakukan untuk mendapatkan parameter distribusi phase-type yang sesuai dengan distribusi aslinya. Closure properties dari phase-type distribution digunakan untuk mendapatkan fungsi reliability sistem dari fungsi reliability subsistem dan mesin. Hasil dari penelitian berupa fungsi reliability sistem yang berdistribusi phase-type dengan R(8760)= 0.02702, MTTF=1219.6 jam, dan hazard rate =4.56×〖10〗^(-4). Analisis sensitivitas dilakukan pada mesin yang kritis dalam subsistem yang kritis yang telah ditentukan menggunakan perhitungan Birnbaum’s Importance Index. Hasil analisis dan perancangan skenario perbaikan menunjukkan bahwa melakukan perubahan struktur menjadi cold standby redudancy pada mesin 20E-02.02 (water pump) adalah hal yang paling feasible untuk dilakukan sebagai upaya peningkatan reliability sistem.

This research discusses system reliability analysis in the form of reliability function at Unit Utilitas Batu Bara (UBB) PT Petrokimia Gresik, which produces electricity and steam. The UBB system analyzed comprises five serial subsystems, and each subsystem comprises several machines with unique structures, namely series, parallel, and k-out-of-N. It models each structure in each hierarchy using the reliability block diagram. The phase-type distribution approach was used to calculate the reliability function. The trace-based-fitting then was used to get the phase-type distribution parameters that match the original distribution. The closure properties of the phase-type distribution were used to get the system reliability function from the subsystem and machine reliability function. From this research, the function of the system reliability with a phase-type distribution with R(8760)= 0.02702, MTTF=1219.6 hours, and hazard rate =4.56×〖10〗^(-4) was obtained. Sensitivity analysis is applied to critical machines in a critical subsystem determined using Birnbaum's Importance Index calculation. The results of the analysis and design of improvement scenarios show that changing the structure to cold standby redundancy on a 20E-02.02 (water pump) machine is the most feasible way to increase system reliability.
