Abstract

Penerapan kendaraan tanpa bermotor (non-motorized transportation) merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengurangi permasalahan transportasi pada perkotaan. Penggunaan sepeda dapat menjadi solusi atas permasalahan transportasi di Jakarta. Untuk semakin meningkatkan penyediaan bagi pesepeda, jalur sepeda sudah mulai ditingkatkan dengan penambahan beberapa titik baru yang tersebar, salah satunya di Kawasan Senayan. Namun, jalur sepeda ini dinilai masih belum maksimal dari segi koherensi, keamanan, kenyamanan, daya tarik, dan keberlangsungan rute yang menyebabkan jalur masih belum berfungsi dengan baik dan dapat menarik pesepeda untuk menggunakannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan arahan peningkatan jalur sepeda berdasarkan preferensi pengguna di Kawasan Senayan Penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode Content Analysis untuk mengidentifikasi tipe dan kriteria jalur sepeda dan validasi triangulasi dilakukan untuk menghasilkan arahan peningkatan jalur sepeda yang sesuai berdasarkan preferensi pengguna di Kawasan Senayan. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dalam penentuan tipe jalur sepeda, yang harus diperhatikan adalah hierarki jalan dan volume lalu lintas baik kendaraan bermotor dan pedestrian sedangkan untuk kriteria jalur sepeda adalah aspek keamanan dan kenyamanan. Pada hasil analisis, diketahui masih terdapat masalah pada 5 kriteria jalur sepeda di Kawasan Senayan. Arahan peningkatan terhadap pemenuhan 5 kriteria jalur sepeda tersebut, antara lain: (1) Koherensi: peningkatan kontinuitas jalur; (2) Keamanan: peningkatan proteksi dan fasilitas keamanan jalur sepeda; (3) Kenyamanan: peningkatan fasilitas kenyamanan jalur sepeda; (4) Daya Tarik: peningkatkan desain jalur sepeda; dan (5) Keberlangsungan Rute: peningkatkan efisiensi jalur sepeda. ======================================================================================================================== The application of non-motorized transportation is one way to reduce transportation problems in urban areas. The use of bicycles can be a solution to transportation problems in Jakarta. To further increase the provision for cyclists, the bike path has begun to be improved by adding a number of new points that are scattered, one of which is in the Senayan Area. However, the bike path is considered not yet optimal in terms of coherence, safety, comfort, attractiveness, and continuity of the route which causes the path is still not functioning properly and can attract cyclists to use it. The purpose of this study is to formulate directions for the enhancement of bicycle lanes based on users’ preferences in the Senayan Area. This study used content analysis method to identify the types and criteria of bicycle paths and triangulation validation was carried out to produce directions for the enhancement of suitable bicycle path based on users’ preferences in the Senayan Area, Jakarta. Findings of this study concluded that, the most important factors in determining the type of bicycle paths were the hierarchy of the roads and the volume of traffics for both motorized and pedestrians, while the most important criteria of the bicycle lane were the safety and comfort aspects. Further, it was found that that there were problems with the 5 bike path criteria in the Senayan Region. Directions for enhancement of the 5 bike path criteria, included: (1) Coherence: enhancement in the line continuity; (2) Security: enhancement in the bicycle path protection and safety facilities; (3) Comfort: enhancement in the bicycle path comfort facilities; (4) Attractiveness: enhancement in the bicycle path design; and (5) Directness: enhancement in the bicycle path efficiency.
