Abstract

Pengelola sumber daya manusia perlu mengukur tingkat kerekatan atau engagement tiap individu terhadap organisasi dalam menjaga kualitas kerja, komitmen kerja, serta kepuasan kerja yang optimal Employee engagement merupakan bentuk tolak ukur perusahaan dalam mengetahui tingkat ikatan antara pegawai dengan organisasi. Namun hal ini sulit untuk dikendalikan, diprediksi, diketahui tingkatannya karena bersifat abstrak. Selain itu, timbulnya pengaruh interaksi antara sesama pegawai dan antara pegawai dengan perusahaan menciptakan kompleksitas yang tergolong tinggi. Penelitian yang dilakukan di ITS ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat employee engagement menggunakan pendekatan agent-based modeling untuk mewakili kompleksitas dari interaksi individu dalam organisasi. Penelitian menggunakan kuisioner untuk mendapatkan informasi tingkat employee engagement dari perspektif Perusahaan Gallup yang menggunakan 12 penyusun faktor employee engagement. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan agent based untuk mengakomodasi perilaku individu yang mempengaruhi tingkat employee engagement. Hasil dari kuisioner menunjukkan bahwa tingkat employee engagement di ITS sebesar 4,166. Hasil tersebut terus meningkat setelah dilakukan simulasi namun peningkatan tersebut tergolong kurang cepat sehingga skenario dirancang. Hasil skenario menunjukkan dengan adanya perbaikan pada faktor engagement yang kurang, peningkatan tingkat engagement naik sebesar 0,987. Perbaikan tersebut juga berpengaruh terhadap jumlah pegawai berstatus “engage”. Selain itu, tingkat pertemuan leader, evaluasi, serta pertimbangan faktor generasi mempengaruhi tingkat employee engagement. Pengaruh tersebut didapatkan dengan meningkatkan tingkat pertemuan leader dan evaluasi. Pertimbangan faktor generasi memberikan perbedaan pada tiap tingkat employee engagement,generasi baby boomer, generasi x, dan generasi millenial. ================================================================================================================== Human resource managers need to measure the level of attachment or engagement level of each individual on the organization to maintain work quality, work commitment, and optimal job satisfaction Employee engagement is a form of company benchmark to determine the level of bond between employees and organizations. But this is difficult to control, predict, and know the level because it is abstract. In addition, the emergence of the influence of interaction between fellow employees, employees and companies creates a high complexity. The research conducted at ITS aims to determine the level of employee engagement using agentbased modeling approaches to represent the complexity of individual interactions within organizations. The study used questionnaires to obtain information on employee engagement levels from the Gallup Company perspective which used 12 constituents of employee engagement factors. This study uses an agent based approach to accommodate individual behavior that affects the level of employee engagement. The results of the questionnaire showed that the level of employee engagement at ITS was 4.166. These results continue to increase after a simulation but the increase is classified as less rapid so the scenario is designed. The scenario results show that with an improvement in the lack of engagement factor, an increase in the level of engaegement rose by 0.987. The improvement also affects the number of employees who are "engaged". In addition, the level of leader meeting, evaluation, and consideration of generation factors influence the level of employee engagement. The influence is obtained by increasing the level of leader meeting and evaluation. Consideration of generation factors give difference of employee engagement level each generation, baby boomer generation, generation x, and millennial generation.
