Abstract

Transportasi publik berupa Suroboyo Bus Rute Purabaya-Rajawali merupakan salah-satu moda transportasi massal yang berguna dalam mengatasi kepadatan lalu lintas akibat terkonsentrasinya pusat-pusat kegiatan di Koridor Utara-Selatan Kota Surabaya. Pengadaan Suroboyo Bus menjadi perhatian publik karena kualitas kendaraan Suroboyo Bus yang menarik minat masyarakat dengan tipe bus low deck dan double deck, dilengkapi dengan fasilitas untuk disabilitas dan area khusus wanita, serta sistem pembayarannya yang unik dengan sampah botol plastik. Namun, masyarakat belum dapat memanfaatkan Suroboyo Bus sebagai moda transportasi utama, khususnya Rute Purabaya-Rajawali masih belum dapat menekan jumlah penggunaan kendaraan pribadi serta mengefisiensikan penggunaan jalan. Oleh karena itu, perlu disusunnya studi mengenai faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan moda Suroboyo Bus.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Statistik Deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi tiga indikator yang berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan moda Suroboyo Bus Rute Purabaya-Rajawali, diantaranya adalah: karakteristik pelaku perjalanan, karakteristik pola perjalanan, serta karakterisitik pelayanan moda. Variabel-variabel dalam masing-masing indikator tersebut kemudian diuji melalui analisis Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat sembilan faktor yang signifikan mempengaruhi pemilihan moda Suroboyo Bus berdasarkan indikator karakteristik pelaku perjalanan, karakteristik pola perjalanan dan karakteristik pelayanan atau performa moda yang ditawarkan. Karakterisik pelaku perjalanan menunjukkan faktor-faktor internal pengguna, seperti usia, kepemilikan kendaraan pribadi, kepemilikan SIM. Faktor-faktor pola perjalanan yang signifikan antara lain maksud perjalanan dan waktu tempuh perjalanan. Terakhir, faktor pelayanan moda yang berpengaruh adalah berkaitan dengan keamanan, kenyamanan, dan konektivitas dengan moda lainnya. Faktor karakteristik pelaku perjalanan memiliki pengaruh paling tinggi dalam pemilihan moda Suroboyo Bus rute Purabaya-Rajawali. Public transportation of Suroboyo Bus Purabaya-Rajawali Route is one of the modes of mass transportation that is useful in dealing with traffic congestion due to the concentration of activities centers in the North-South Corridor of Surabaya City. The operation of Suroboyo Bus has been a concern because of the attractiveness of the quality with low deck and double deck bus types, Suroboyo Bus also equipped priority area, as well as a unique payment system with plastic bottle bins. However, the community has not been able to use the Suroboyo Bus as the primary mode of transportation, especially the Purabaya-Rajawali Route, which has slightly reduce the number of private vehicle use and make road use less efficient. Therefore, it is necessary to compile a study of the factors that influence the choice of Suroboyo Bus.
This study uses a descriptive statistical analysis method to identify three indicators that influence the mode choice theories of Suroboyo Bus Purabaya-Rajawali Route, including the characteristic of the travel agent, characteristic of travel patterns, and characteristic of modal services. The variables in each of these indicators tested through a Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA).
The results showed that nine factors significantly influenced the selection of Suroboyo Bus modes based on indicators of the characteristic of the travel agent, characteristic of the travel patterns, and characteristics of the services offered. The characteristic of the traveler indicates the user's internal factors, such as age, private vehicle ownership, and driving license ownership. The significant travel pattern factors include the purpose of the trip and the travel time. Finally, the influential mode of service is related to safety, comfortability, and connectivity with other modes. The factors of the characteristic of the traveler and the service performance of the modes offered are indicators that are most significant to the mode selection.
