Abstract

Kemajuan zaman dan teknologi mendatangkan banyak perubahan terutama di bidang ekonomi. Salah satu industri yang berkembang pesat adalah industri fashion yang menggunakan bahan kain sebagai bahan utama. Namun selama ini kegiatan berbelanja kain belum menjadi kegiatan yang menyenangkan. Beberapa kendala seringkali ditemui terutama perihal informasi terkait kain yang sulit didapatkan. Tak jarang pula ditemui sebuah budaya atau kebiasaan saat berbelanja kain yang kurang efektif baik bagi karyawan toko maupun pembeli. PT. Gloria Textile Abadi merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di lingkup bahan textile yang telah berdiri sejak tahun 1964 dengan visi misi untuk terus berinovasi dan meningkatkan pelayanan dengan baik untuk pelanggannya. Berdasarkan pengamatan lapangan, terdapat masalah terkait keefektifan kegiatan baik bagi karyawan maupun pelanggan,hal ini menjadi budaya dan belum ditemukan solusi yang tepat. Dengan menerapkan konsep Modern Komunikatif pada interior toko kain Gloria Textile, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektifitas kegiatan pengguna karena informasi dapat diterima dengan mudah. Konsep tersebut ditunjang melalui perencanaan layout, furnitur, dan teknologi yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan desain. Konsep Modern Komunikatif pada interior Gloria Textile diwujudkan dengan penambahan fasilitas diantaranya area makan minum, area konsultan fashion designer, area perlengkapan jahit, area bermain anak dan fasilitas penunjang lain. Sistem display kain didesain terstruktur dan terorganisir sehingga sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Aspek komunikatif diaplikasikan dengan signage, permainan warna yang menjadi ciri khas masing masing area, dan juga permainan tipografi. Dengan konsep desain modern komunikatif tersebut, maka informasi dapat diterima dengan mudah oleh pengguna ruangan, sehingga kegiatan didalamnya dapat lebih efisien. ====================================================================================================================== Progress of the times and technology brought many changes, especially in the economic field. One of the fast growing industries is the fashion industry that uses fabric as the main ingredient. But so far, cloth shopping hasn't been a pleasant activity. Some obstacles are often encountered, especially regarding information that is difficult to obtain cloth. Not infrequently also encountered a culture or habit when shopping for fabrics that are less effective both for store employees and buyers. PT. Gloria Textile Abadi is a company engaged in the scope of textile materials which has been established since 1964 with a vision and mission to continue to innovate and improve service to its customers. Based on field observations, there are problems related to the effectiveness of activities for both employees and customers, which unfortunately becomes a culture and has not found the right solution. By applying the Communicative Modern concept to the interior of the Gloria Textile fabric shop, it is hoped that it can increase the effectiveness of user activities because information can be received easily. The concept is supported through layout planning, furniture, and technology for the design goals. The Communicative Modern Concept in the interior of Gloria Textile is realized with the addition of facilities including drinking and eating areas, fashion designer consultant areas, sewing equipment areas, children's play areas and other supporting facilities. Fabric display systems are designed structured and organized in such a way as needed. To support the communicative aspect, it is assisted with signage, the color play that is the characteristic of each area, and also typhography. With this communicative modern design concept, information can be easily received by users of the room, so that the activities inside can be more efficient.
